The only problem was I am 46 and 80% of the women were 22-26.

I believed the story up until here: 22-26 year old women aren’t going to speed dating events.

Now if it was 42-46 year old women, then the story would have more foundation.

Yep, I'm lying. Why would I make it up?
Somebody later said alot of college women go to that bar and a large Private University is about 30 mins away.

My friends don't go out anymore.

I have that same problem from my primary social group and even some friends outside of what I have typically considered my primary social group. Almost of my friends are married and the majority have children at this point.
