Let's say you have two choices: Money or Happiness. Which would you chose?

Since this is a dating advice forum, Happiness here is defined as having the one special girl that you can really passionately love for the rest of your life. And if you chose money, it means you will never be able to have that. If your DJ skill is good, an empty life of moving from one random chick to the next is the best you'll ever have.

Would you sacrifice Love for Money? Would you give up your soul for money and success? Or is Love more important?

This is a hypothetical question. There' s no exception. You have to choose one or the other. You can't have both.

i swear it's the only way for happiness because hapiness is like the constant and durable feeling of beauty and that your object of beauty sees in you her object of beauty as well ( and when i talk about beauty i'm talking about the phisical aestics but the feeling of beauty.

deep love and passion with somebody that loves you back is the only way at the condition you don't **** up and manage to make it work for ever, which is trickier....It supose some prior experiences with many other girls so you can appreciate love when it comes. knowing that a lot of you have had very few encounters, i'd actually advise you to get some serious amount of hook ups so before thinking of all what i said above.

What I expected who lives by the desires of the flesh equating true happiness and love with sex.

True love comes from the Christian sense of the bible Agape love. Self sacrificing love, a selfless charity love toward the well being of others and the less fortunate. You see this love in very dire situations such as war where a soldier will stay back and die in a hopeless situation so he can save his friends.


If I were to choose between the two, happiness no doubt in my mind. Money can be made and lost, but happiness you can never take away. Like when I met my 2 cousins from Switzerland for the first time in Florida and had fun at Disney world for four days. I consider that one of the happiest times of my life and I can recreate those events in my mind anytime.

If your happy you tend to not make dumb decision, for example people are likely to be more desperate when they are sad. They find things to escape from reality, drinking, drugs, sex and criminal acts. If you have money but you are sad, it just makes it easier for you to hurt yourself or others.

Being a happy person, you'll find people who are happy including women who don't have issues. So if your happy you'll end up making better decision and having better women. This is a no brainier for me, happiness right now for me.

I know you're young, and many girls your age dream of finding that alpha Mr. Big prince charming who sweeps them off of their feet and declares his love. But you will find life does not work that way for the majority of women.

MONEY DOES NOT BRING HAPPINESS!!!

I have a well paid carrier, nice house and a very nice sports car. I went years feeling miserable and lonley.

The only thing that brings happiness is knowing how to have a good time and to surround yourself by positive people and true friends. Oh, and actually taking an interest in what people are rather than just trying to show yourself off and win them over - which I guess you may be the latter by posting this topic.

Money brings luxury and convenience, not hapiness. Yes, it does get you attention and improves first impressions, but when people start interacting with you, your just the same person with or without assets.

Additionally, it is another thing that attracts women. You know, the provider type, "he's got a good job/money and must have it together". Makes a man much more appealing if you will. It's ludicrous to believe that money cannot bring some degree of happiness to one's life.

I would rather live in a beautiful town home and spin some plates than be wrapped up with my "one true love" on a single bed in the basement of some dump I rented for 300.00 per month wondering how I am going to pay the power bill.

It's an empty life if you have all the money in the world, but have no one to share it with. Those women and luxury items are like cocaine. Just quick fixes for the short-term.

I'd rather choose what gets me long-term happiness. But if I have to choose one or the other. It'll be money, power, and success. You can't love someone when you're broke. I rather be unhappy, I can cope with unhappiness, then be poor and struggling.

With how terrible the world is today, do you think people are meant to be happy? Or is unhappiness a fact of life? If you can't be comfortable being unhappy, you'll have a hard time coping with the real world.
