Someone plz i need some insight

So Was wondering if someone could help me with this. Last night this girl i knew for a bout a year asked me to a movie. " August Rush" Me being a music major going to be a choir teacher im 21 Was like alright sure. Keep in mind this girl is beautiful blond who i had a crush on my entire first year of college (Last Year) . So as we are driving to the movies all she is doing is talking about her boyfriend and saying how cute it was that he got a little jealous of me. I was just like nodding my head not really paying attention to it cause well hes not me so why would i care. Anyway as we get into the theater i was like curious to see if she was going to pay for herself or like expect me to. So she goes to like the counter thing and just kinda like sits there staring like not making any motion to like pay or anything so i mean obviously the light came on in my head saying if i do not pay i guess werre not seeing this movie. So i paid end of story I thought the movie was terrible but ive always liked her and had a crush on her I just got confused cause doesn't that consider it a Date then which makes no sense to me anybody Some advice would be awesome.

her gfs probably were to busy to see the movie too

...so she asked you to see it since she didnt want to go by herself ..she got a free movie and nice company...end of story

I just didn't understand.

THe only thing that bothered me about it was the whole ride like there she was like explaining to me how her boyfriend got a little jealous that she decided to go to this movie with him. As well as how cute it was that he got jealous. In my head i could care less to hear about her boyfriend i don't know him nor would really care. I just hate the idea of being someones fall back or last resort like Hey Dan would go cause i know he won't turn me down. Seems like she only like contacts me every so often when she wants help or something. I think i should be much more then well none of my gf's or my bf would see this so lets call Dan Type thing.

It kind of sounds like you became an emotional tampon to this girl.
Unless you turn it around (if you want to turn it around), she'll probably just continue with this.

I usually, not in a mean way but serious, say to the girls "Dont you have girlfriends to talk this sh!t out with?" whenever they try to use me that way. As Daven said, I hope you learned something.

Things never seem to go right with this girl anyway. The reason i was interested in her was cause she understands why i care about Choral music so much n why im going to school for it. Thats a Hella lot of information Wow .. Did you Read almost all of it or just certain parts of those sections? I most definitely steered the conversation away from the boyfriend. We were talking about lots of stuff hobbies she enjoys in the winter and stuff Stuff. We sing a lot together when were like driving so thats kinda cool. The one thing that stood out most to me was after the movie i was just like playing off of her words like observational humor and she was laughing a lot so i mean last time i checked i thought laughing was always a good sign. She actually emailed me tonight saying how much fun she had with me. The money thing really was not that big a deal i just over analyzed that. I asked her if we should do something about that and she said yes. So a part of me definitely wants to like keep hanging out with her more n another part really wants her happy though. Guess i never really wanted to ask if she was Truly happy with the guy she is with its not really my place to ask that. Ive known her for about a year and a half n she has gone threw 2-3 other boyfriends.

Yes, I read almost all of it. It's not something you will learn over night. Nor, is it a bunch of tricks to just memorize. It's about changing your life style to becoming a better you and then, with women.

but like you said it did sound like a date. but what i dont get is why would she ask you to a movie if she already has a boyfriend? chicks are weird man.

I had a chick that was like this also. I knew her for about 5 months we were really cool but she has a boyfriend. and she always wanted me to take her out and stuff. i never did cause i though it was weird.
