I was watching TV last night, and there was this show on which changed my thinking a little, and it really did make sense on how to approach things.
This guy got charged for raping and killing a 16 year old girl, and his whole life he has denied it. They re open his case, and in 3 Days he is set to be executed. An investigator looks at his case, but they cannot gather enough evidence in time, and they kill the man who was convicted.
In his last 5 minutes of living, he tells the truth, and says, "The truth is what I have been saying all along, I didn't do it". And the second right before he dies, he tells the investigator, "Prove me right, Sir". The investigator tried to get them to re-open the case for 1 more day before he dies, but the head police chief wouldn't let him.
Later on, the investigator proves that the man was not lying, and that he was completely innocent. They get another suspect, and find out it was him, and he confesses, that he raped and murdered the 16 year old girl
In the next scene they show the wrongfully convicted man being buried. It was very sad to watch, that a guy, if he had 1 more day, could have lived, he tried his hardest, but being in jail, he didn't have too much of a chance. His last words, meant something. If the main police chief opened the case a day earlier, he could have lived.
My point is, live life to the fullest, don't be afraid of little things like asking out a girl, or talking to her, you never know what happens in life. Think of it this way.
What if you had only 1 day to live
What if there was a single breath you could take, to do something you always wanted, but you were too scared to.
What if you had 1 day to prove something
What if that day is today...
So don't be afraid to do something you are nervous to do, because of very small consequences. It will never ever be 6:00 PM on this day and year ever again, this moment is yours, make use of it now.
