I'm glad I read the whole thread. I got a little scared when I saw the word "alternative".

True. I would say all women do.

I disagree.

There's no set number of dates for this to happen. I think you're assuming that there's no contact AT ALL between the dates.

Comfort happens when it happens. It's not like...

Date 1
Date 2
Date 3..."ok,I'm comfortable now. We can have sex".

I agree,but what about our wishes? Do we have a say-so here as well,or do we just follow her around until she decides?


It's her perrogative if she wants to wait...but she'll still expect us to try. She wouldn't look at us as men if we didn't.


We try. If she give a temporary no,we respect it...but we still try.

Plus, you'd know that she's particular with whom she is intimate.

On this,I 100% agree.

Hope the pain is gone. I don't worry anymore about my ex squeeze. The thing is I am going to be alot more careful about falling again for anyone.
You have to filter and be sure its real before you give your heart away.

I take on a zen detached state so I have no problem with communicating as long as it is reciprocal. Last time we emailed was 15 days ago but I will send a happy TG message. The junk email stopped coming in so either he is on the list or she got tired of not getting any responses from me.

I find this a refreshing point of view. It seems like to many on here, if the girl is not drunkenly willing to put out the same night she meets you, she's not worth your time. I might think the opposite is more likely to be the case if you're looking for a quality woman. But of course it depends on what your goal is for the interaction.

How is it going for you?

It's going okay, ups and downs. Still haven't broken NC, nor has she. Been over 2 months now.

Think I just gotta let this one go, but I still think about breaking NC, the next step for us is walking down the isle.. so unless I'm ready to spend the rest of my life with this chick, I've gotta just lay my hand down and not break NC.

Life is tough.
