Some help!!please...

There is a girl in class I like and a few days ago I found out that she broke up with her boyfriend.That same day I get the feeling that she wants me.There is eye contact and she wants me too walk her places.`
Well I just don't know how to escalate attraction with her.I don't know why it is so weird.I don't know how to do it is like I completely forgot and I feel like a major afc!

Today I was sitting next to her and I could not figure out what to say to her! We had very small talk and that was it.At the end of class I asked her how her boyfriend situation was doing,as soon I as I asked that I thought to myself damn dude what are you doing!! She got annoyed and said don't be an *******.I said something and back in a sarcastic way and started walking with her to her car.I saw a freind and left without saying anything.She left and I did not get a chance to talk wth her.


I don't know why I am acting like this. I just seem to forget everything and become a chump,I feel like I did in high school! She is bummed out about her boyfriend and I know that I should be the guy to let her forget all that.

Any clues to why I am acting like this?

I would consider nailing her first before becoming her emotional tampon. Yes, she will need it. And she will ask you for it because she WILL miss her ex. So use the opportunity wisely.

I just experienced almost the identical situation of the original poster. I had a girl at work I talked to a lot that recently became single. That same week she invited me to go camping at Cedar Point with some people (long story short...I wasn't able to go to Cedar Point, but we still hung out a lot that week). She also talked about camping at a resort lake somewhere, and was calling me twice a day to set up activities and stuff.

So it would sound like she was totally into me right? WRONG! A couple weeks later I had her over when I was home alone, and after a fun time cooking over a bonfire we packed it in for a movie on the couch. After that, I did the "do you like surprises?" kiss-close thing. Afterwards she gave me the LJBF speech. I was speechless.

Apparently she was just using me to get back to what she calls "normal," and is in fact trying to learn how to be independent again based on a book a relative gave her after she ended things with her cheating boyfriend.

I'm thinking like "Wtf is she inviting me camping and to drive-in movies and boating parties and things for?" Can't she hang out with her ****ing girlfriends if she wants to get back to ****ing normal? Now it's awkward...we just say hi at work and casually do small talk, but the spark I was sure I had before is totally gone.

damn dude,that sucks.I do not want that to happen to me,but if it does it does. I know I have the ability to start attraction with her,but for some reson man I feel like a major AFC!!!I have no idea why!
