New York lawyers who make 500K+ are a dime a dozen. Don't believe me? Count how many little crap holes in the city are worth over 1 million dollars. Who do you think is buying those places?

And don't forget wall st. business analysts, hedge fund managers, etc.

Exactly but when I say stuff like this im a troll,
that is the point im trying to bring up.

Its not hard to make 500+K.

I will be making that very soon and im in my twenties.

145K is great in a place outside the big cities, New York, Chicago, L.A.,

that money will be gone fast.

I also make a valid point girls are looking for top 1% of guys

in terms of GAME, and MONEY as well.

If Guy A makes 145K and
Guy B makes 2 million dollars a year,

the girl would be more inclined to go out with Guy B, am I right?

The average lawyer makes $110K according to Forbes, and I was making the equivalent of $317K in NY, NY (here in Texas).

I will note that she called and/or texted 15 times today, so I might still qualify, but I feel bad for guys getting out of college trying to deal with women their own age. We all need to put things in perspective for them. They base their expectations for a man on what they saw on The Bachelor.

In terms of why I let her read the offer letter - it happened to be on the table and I figure she normally gets BS anyhow. I feel everyone should share their salary. It's kept secret to benefit the elite, mostly.

Just out of curiosity, what was your field of study in college?

Perhaps you could get on your knees and do a trick, like the good little dog you are to her?

I Firmly believe, now, that if She (all women in general) didn't have that $150-300 gadget called a smartphone in her purse, pocket, by her side at arms length, every moment of the day, every instance of her life, that she (all women in general) would be like the women of the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, who wouldn't blink twice a the notion of acquiring a guy who reels in at least $35-45 K (even using inflation-adjusted numbers), but TODAY, with all the Extremely credit borrowing, the Facade to the Hilt! in Everybody's lives possessing luxury cars (but not Really possessing these showpieces, but in debt for max years for them, maybe at near zero interest so maybe not a bad idea but still, not actually Owning the car), the vulgarly lush houses that will NEVER be paid off, these people livin like on a doctor's salary near term, but only an executive at some telemarketing company making 2/3's of that. You know, she, with her cellphone, facebook, whatever, social circle, all around, can See that compared to you who doesn't spend, spend, spend, like almost Alll the other Americans out there, that you show Nothing, therefore you mean Nothing to her because you chose not to flaunt what you do not own like all the others. She only sees the surface, all the people runnin around, in debt to the master (the banks), and that's all she Wants to see. She doesn't want to Hear that it's all a facade, these people, who will Never pay off what they've borrowed, and will Die in debt, thus, screwing over the creditors (who really never actually had the money to Lend in the first place...None of them do! it's all loaned out of thin air, their scheme is to just make your interest payments and not really Intend to recover the Full loan which was never repaid because you died. They ACT like it Hurts them, oh they have to "write off" these "bad loans" but in all actuality the loan was made from Air or "tranches" so no harm to them).

So these b!tches, who believe what they see/read (celebrity bullsh!t) via her lie-enabling smartphone, will Never see the truth because they don't want to. Try to educate a B!tch on the truth and she'll squint her eyes, turn her head, scowl, cover her ears, stomp her feet, and say, "Awww, I don't wanna hear it! (get away from me!)" because they Love living in fantasy land, the Ultimate Amero-Consumer that is Woman. I see all this sh!t in stores, all this worthless valueless sh!t! and I know right then and there, that it's there for a reason...for a passerby Woman to buy...you may think, "Damn, who would ever buy this plastic piece of sh!t hanging on a rack here" then you think, "Oh, that's right, the most gullible fish on the planet: woman." You Know it will break in a week's time of use, but the woman can't think that far down the line...all she wants to do is BUY what she SEES. So if you're not puttin on a Facade like everybody else in America, then you get looked over. If you reign in your finances and take care of your sh!t, you get looked over. If you're not showy, you're not marketing, the female will look you over.

You convert your 145K a year into boats, houses, cars, and all manner of "showiness" then she'll sit in your lap, Then she'll burn up your credit even Further after that because she thinks, "The sky is unlimited...oh joy (*blink* eyelash *blink*)."

Women cannot comprehend numbers, just the Things in front of them (like your c0ck) that they represent.

There are different layers of income and people are often aware of the ones near them. So the poster who says there are tons of $1M in Manhattan is certainly correct. Media exposure to high end lifestyles has definitely adjusted women's expectations.

I've seen many girls who grow up "upper middle" decide that it is normal to wear Prada because they have seen someone do it.

I'd look at her comments as trying to frame you down... i.e. a s-test, that your rather respectable income isn't impressive to her because some guys make 600K. Handle accordingly or move along.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Dude this is 1000% real talk. At my part time job in a high end dept store we see it ALL THE TIME. Chicks who work there and, "shop" there are all 'buying' and returning on a daily basis to keep up with the Joneses. It's like a rental place only they get their money back, or store credit to "buy" other stuff. The excuses we hear are all laughable and you just smile at them and go through the motions. People who used to work at Bloomingdales, Saks etc work there and they said the same ish goes on in those stores ALL THE TIME. Unlimited return policy. People buy stuff, show it off at parties etc. Then return saying "this doesn't fit right", the are "Allergic" to the cosmetics (after using 75-90% of it), the shoes 'hurt' them after they've worn them out to the party etc. There are countless people fronting out there and it's encouraged. Then they wonder why sales people magically disappear when they walk in looking for help to "buy" new things. Why waste time with 'shoppers' when you want the people who are keepers. And they are few and far between these days.

That's hilarious. People used to buy big TV sets just before the Super Bowl and return them afterward, which is why they now have a big re-stocking fee to discourage the practice. I would guess that will happen in your store in some fashion eventually.

Another thing that cracks me up is when guys say "I can't get a woman because I don't make (big number). Instead I only make (small number)." The funny part to me is that the small number is always ten times what I make. :D

No more keyboard jockeying . Action is the place.
So on campus I kind of did my own little experiment. I went up to random women and said I was doing a survey for a psyc class on women and dating a certain guy with a particular major. This was freaking funny. I asked them to list the top 3 guys in a certain major they would date. ... want to know the top 3 .... "Bio/Chem, Biology, Bimolecular Science ". And in this experiment looks didnt count . All those majors have the chance to go to med school, work in a hospital , or make easily over 150K a year. 3 Majors they wouldnt go for: "Teaching , art (i didnt think any girls I surveyed were into art though, may be a source of error ), and general education. " Aka pretty much anything that makes far under 80K a year.

I guess that makes sense, especially for college girls, they are all just gold diging wh0res who deserve nothing and sadly this goes to the whole why marriage is bullsh1t argument. Anyway, enjoy the data. I know I had fun collecting it lol.

I should add that I surveyed 30 different girls at different times of the day.
60% were about to graduate in the spring, 40% were either juniors or sophomores. Wouldnt this also have a correlation between guys having their head on straight too? Because if your majoring in something difficult you obviously have confidence, ambition, drive, and all the qualities of a man. So maybe the correlation isnt the money, for some gold diggers it is, but maybe its the qualities these men portray?

Dude I swear to God it goes on on a daily basis. You can go out and see all these chicks in their fancy outfits, purses, etc. They either "bought" it and are going to return it eventually when the next best thing comes out, bought a knockoff, or had some chump by it for them (which they'll try to return eventually and get the next best new up to date thing.)

It's encouraged everywhere. With iphones, upgrades etc. People get so used to that it's like they are entitled to keep having the newest things and it goes into everything. The stores themselves go along with it as they can use damaged things as write offs and they won't discourage "customers" from doing it as they WANT the traffic to keep coming back or else they'll "shop" elsewhere and they don't want the bad word of mouth publicity. It's hilarious.

They need Facebook for attention and social proof, the newest fashion, the best phone, the boyfriend who will make their friends jealous, the job title, mentioning his job title etc.

These chicks and a lot of dudes are so brainwashed by the media, siociety, consumerism etc. It's not going to stop.

I look at chicks when I'm out and often times think not how hot she is: But guessing when she'll be returning the stuff she "bought" for the next best thing to get "caught" wearing in the newest nightclub photo.

These people are fronting like mofos!

Sorry but I'm not taking that chicks debt and nonsense.

I don't let it get to me but it really opens your eyes to the correlation between that and the constant branch swinging.

That's why I say if you take a part time job for the hell of it in somewhere like a high end dept store to make money, meet chicks while not spending money you really get an eye opener to how they operate.

Another thing these chicks do is when they "shop" at Bloomingdales or other big name stores (Barney's, Saks, etc) they'll buy the cheapest clearence thing and ask the saleperson for the Big Brown Bag. (The paper bag or the bags the other stores have) Then what they do is use that bag to carry things on the street or to work to "name drop" and 'impress' people. You have no idea. I see those chicks and I'm thinking: This chick is most likely a broke azz "shopper" = borrower.

Hell we see married women doing that all the time. Buying and coming back most likely because their husband told them afterwards to take that sh1t back. Or you'll hear them talking to their daughters saying: We need to hide this from your father/husband. True story!

But then, I make 600,000 sperm a day. At the end of the night, it's flowing out of her hole. So it's crystal clear just exactly which 600,000 is fantasy and which is fact.

girls wont even blink at a middle income salary, they want to see "things", not just hear about your salary. I make 55k a year as a 22 year old. It doesn't matter. There is so much more to life than money, and the right girls will not focus on any part of your income. These girls are ****ing rare, but i'm not getting in any type of relationship that is centered around the money I make. Quality girls will not throw out that 600k bull, there is so much more to life than sex and money. The lasting relationships I have formed with all kinds of people are what keep me going. Sex is great, but not the most important thing in life. Money is great, it make life easier, but being alone and rich sounds horrible. Never give up your happiness and freedom to get a higher paycheck.

People I talk to nowadays in my age group are so caught up in all this materialistic stuff. Man, these people are miserable, and they have no savings, debt, aren't prepared for the future...Hardly anyone I talk to has their priorities straight and is set up for long term success. Why do people even need smartphones, waste of money. computers are for internet, these phones are antisocial and ruin face to face communication. girls and guys are always checking these stupid things they can't afford in the first place.

Bottom line: True relationships are not based off of the dough in your wallet. They are based on being a man, having your **** together, and having mutual trust with your partner. Bigneil, drop that one

Nice job. You're in the 98% for your age bracket, but probably don't get the credit you deserve.

My salaries went:

$28.5 (1993)
$35.0 (1994)
$43.0 (1995)
$52.0 (1996)
$60.0 (1997)
$160.0 (1998)
$4M (1999) (started business worth $4M)
$-4M (2000) (lost it all to dot com crash)

Thanks bigneil, people don't realize how hard you have to work to be successful at a young age, I'm sure you receive the same treatment. With my engineering degree, I'm in a great position to move forward in difficult times.

I'm interested in how you made the jump from 60k to 160k from '97 to '98 (promotion from within, job hop, higher education level, etc...). Whatever decision you made there, it was a good one.

And that .com **** really blows, wish you the best for your future

Why the big jump after 1997? Why didn't that happen in 1995? :)
