K, so i start talking to this girl in my english class, just making some small talk in the beginning. i was about to ask her for her number when my teacher told me to turn around and take out my book. any other class i would have just kept talking to the girl, but i sit in the very front of the row( like 2 feet away from my teacher). at the end of the class, i make some more small talk because i could just tell she was into me- she was paying close attention towards me, good body language, and laughing at some really dumb jokes. i say before i have to go: let me get your number, and she says let me get to kno u better with a little smile. im thinking, ok she "wants to get to kno me better" aka see if im a chump, so im just play this little thing off as if it was no big deal, cuz it wasn't and just keep up the game until she comes around. is this right choice of actions or should i do something else? btw her response and overall behavior indicates that she likes me. i've never actually had someone give me this response when i ask for a number, only gotten ok or a no. more often a yes
