Hi all please note age is wrong on profile - I'm 38. Loved reading these forums in the past.

Newly single, back checking out the market. It's been 9 years, so I'm rusty and looking for a consult. Invited girl out on on the waverunners. The excuse I got was not one i've had in the past. Said she wasn't sure about it in general. Seemed unsure if she'd like the experience or be comfortable with it. Outside of that, ear to ear smiles when talking, hanging out, etc.

Bail or keep trying? I rolled with it and said no problem. Ended up going and having a great time anyways.

Great point. It was cheap as I own them but by no means simple or easy. Reapproach another time or pass? I frequent this place so I don't want to #### where I eat if I come off like a tool.

There is nothing wrong with asking her for a drink or some thing in a couple weeks. Just keep everything real casual with first dates. Easy, cheap no pressure.

The bigger the date plans, the more likely she is to think you are doing it so she "owes you" and puts out.... Keep it small and simple.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.
