Interesting.... well. Back in the stone ages societies, and tribes alpha male leaders wanted tough men in their tribe, they wanted men that could fight tigers other tribes and keep the women and children from dying.

Today the alpha males running big corporations no longer want too many alphas, because they are too much competition. Mutual strengh is no longer a virtue needed for survival. And with globalization, there really no longer is any sence of society by people who are REALLY running the world. The benefit now is more weak males trying to buy self-esteme and social value from them.

Add to that you don't really have to be an alpha male to led a corporation, you can luck into it, or just have it left to you. And don't get me started on the election process of politicians, a real Alpha Male has very little chance getting elected because the ultimate trait of a self-confident Alpha is honesty, fat chance any politican gets elected by being truthful. Hell we've only had one Alpha Male President in the last 120 years, Teddy Roosevelt. George Bush acted like an Alpha, but he wasn't a true Alpha because he was a lying sack of sh!t. Same is true for the POS **** Chenney, a want-a-be tough guy.. he put on a good act but he is really a weak @ss man.

Very few self made billionaires anymore. So what they do is hire Alphas to run their companies... odd the world has turned.

Just about all politicians today are malignant betas. They have to raise money, kiss ass and present the right image to get elected (and stay in office). This leads them to having power over policy decisions. However, they have almost no personal power. Special interest groups that fund their campaigns dictate their every move. They are basically puppets on strings.

There is no freedom of speech when you are President of the U.S. You have to say what you are told to say and follow rules you didn't make. Nothing "alpha" about that.

And here is the funniest joke of all: You may think the puppets on TV representing the Left and the Right as arch political enemies, but the leader of the "Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy" and the head of the "Looney Left" hardly hate one another... in fact, Rupert Murdoch gave money to Hillary Clinton. Lots of it. The leaders of our country use politics to get YOU all riled up. They could give a flying f*ck though, in reality. They are all posers and con artists. Politics is the most effective get-rich-quick scheme around. All you have to do is lie your ass off and participate in the right corrupt alliances.

I wouldn't necessarily say that is beta. It's about getting to the top and staying on top. If you have no money to run for office, you won't be able to in the political climate we have today with billionaires funding people. If you kiss a little ass being fake that's what it takes to get there for a lot of people. I'm sure you've done it to a point in your life too. Look at all the politicians who took bribes and money for special interest to stay in office. It's how it's done and nobody is above it. Are there betas? Sure, but not all of them.
