Right.

Now I have a question for those who use this platform and wanna know if there’s any success. I have a private profile and around 260 followers ( all people I know) and a few posts. Basically a decent page. Nothing ‘popular’.

Yes it’s true girls usually use this stuff but I wanna know if there’s any success by increasing your followers and likes?

I’m sure guys with a few thousand followers and good pictures probably get hit on a lot? I guess the question is what is the significance of having this- surely this is social proof and must be a good way to get access to multiple women?

Anyone experience this in instagram?

It sounds like you're looking for outside validation. It might work, but you better be one good looking guy for anyone to give a ****.

If you're physically attractive, you have nothing to worry about. Some women will even message you first.

But if you're anything below 8/10, forget it.

Here are some tips:

1. Go after women with similar backgrounds. Put your job, school, city etc in your bio and follow the women who share the same as you.

2. Find a guy who looks similar to you and follow the women who like his pictures.

3. Unless you have absolutely amazing pictures, keep your profile private. It will encourage women to actually follow you back.

4. If you're not a prettyboy, make sure your face isn't too visible in the profile picture. Women will go into auto-reject mode. A picture with your back turned or far off into the distance is better.

5. Use the app at night. Accept follow requests and like pictures during the night. Female have their phone directly to their face at night and don't have anything else going on. They'll be more likely to check out your profile.

I have around 2400 followers, mostly professional pictures of me, and pictures of my show car. I'm above average looking and I've never had a girl open me on IG. I get opened by girls on dating sites, but not on IG. I could send messages to girls and hit on them but I don't. Having a lot of followers and a good profile is good for social proof. If you meet a girl somewhere and she checks your IG, it can definitely help you.

But, IG can be really rough. Alot of people on there play the follow/unfollow game. They will follow you and when you follow them back, they unfollow you hoping you don't notice. Alot of girls just refuse to follow guys back. You might follow them and like there pics but they won't follow you back. I just will end up unfollowing them when they pull that stuff. I don't play around on there and I'm not going to be some fan/orbiter. Honestly, IG kind of sucks. I sometimes think about deleting mine. It might not even be worth wasting your time on.
