and music is just quiet enough that you can have a conversation if you speak up...what should the convo be about on the dance floor? you know those initial few words that give her a feel for what you sound like, show her that you are friendly enough etc. this is well before you isolate to another place where you get to know one another etc.

Agreed... Still a good question though. If you happen to be at a table or hanging out near speakers or its just really loud, make whatever you say count, and keep it short and interesting.. It's also a great way to rack up some kino while you're leaning over talking/listening to her
