Its so sad what this world keeps turning into.
I mean, its a fact that in few years there will be no more trees, a FACT, but still we do practically NOTHING .
There are continents of people starving, and yet we all talk about why Michael Jackson's behaviour is right or wrong, how the neighbour got money to buy a new car, etc.
And what refers to the sexual aspect of the worldwide derrogation, girls. Girls loosing their virginity at 10, 12. Or younger. Man, at that age they should still be thinking in ways to climb to a higher point in a big tree, how to make a hiper-potent home-made stinkbomb, etc. Not sex.
Whats the curious thing with this? This happens the most in the worlds wealthiest nations.
The truly sad part of it all? We cant do anything, we as human race do not like to share, do not like to heal.
Or what is there to do?

By the way, im writing this because im in a good mood. If I was in a sad mood Id be going out not shrinking myself in tears.

Yes... I admit the wording of my reply was a little out of place so I take it back....no I'll rephrase it. No name calling is justified...

People should be worried/concerned about these issues as it will effect every one of us, even more so the next generation and the rest to follow.
I'm no 'tree-hugging hippie', nor am I a right wing conservative when it comes to my views, but it is a known fact that the way we are living is unsustainable and I believe very sad.

Good point. yes, this may be so, but you failed to mention the other issue brought up, and we shouldnt really be making exact comparisons as in this day and age, the vast majority are more knowledgable (less wise?), and standards of living, technology available and knowledge of consequences to our actions are much more prevailant.
In this day and age, even compared to past slavery etc. globally, inequality is much much greater than it has ever been.

I will repeat, I posted it being in a good mood. Depression did not lead me to post this.

Now, I know that this has been going on for a long while.
But why do 10 year olds have sex? Because their parents are making a good job? I dont think so.
Its a fact, there have been many so called ¨studies¨ estimating when trees will be ...extinct. The last one I saw said 2021.
