She gave threw it in the bag without ringing it up, gave me a look and I smiled. Going into this purchase I was in a very quiet non-pick-up mood. She was hot but I noticed a rainbow belt, so I figured she was gay.

I said "The last person that did that for me. . I got their number" and she laughed and said "Well you don't get mine. . . . I have a boyfriend"

I just smiled and said thank you very much, the last girl that did that for me was 19 (I'm 17) and things turned out great the two times we hung out (all available in my threads of the past), then I ended up finding out I was just a flesh dildo. :yes:

Pickup has that unintended consequence of making people cool and more social. I get discounts, freebies, and comped bennies all the time just from being social with staff, whether it be at a bar, Macy's, Autozone, etc. It's amazing how easy it is to talk to people. Just lead the conversation and be nice. It stuns me to this day how few people are really like this. You'd think everyone would say it, but they dont. Something as simple as "Busy day, eh?" and they usually light up and start talking.

I get discounts, freebies, and comped bennies all the time just from being social with staff, whether it be at a bar, Macy's, Autozone, etc. It's amazing how easy it is to talk to people. Just lead the conversation and be nice. It stuns me to this day how few people are really like this. You'd think everyone would say it, but they dont. Something as simple as "Busy day, eh?" and they usually light up and start talking.

To overcome my extreme shyness since the summer i've been starting conversations with people. Stores that i go to are alot of times never packed or even have long lines so cashiers/employees (mostly female) just stand there bored out of their minds.
Most of the time when i've talked to people they're all ears with a big smile on their face, they wanted to be pulled away from their dull environment.

All I get is hoodrats and trashy chics giving me free fries all the time. Well, not any more, no more fat food...I mean fast food for me.

But seriously, having convos with people on a regular basis will get you so much. So many customer service people have to deal with attitudes and complaints all day they love to see someone who is pleasant and actually interested in them, they will bend over backwards for you.

I used this and got a number! it can be really easy, most staff just want some human conversation, obviously they're sick n tired of bull **** complaints and ignorant arragont customers.

I agree with what you said, but isn't it ironic that pickup leads you to "be nice". When one of the first things they tell you is not to be the "nice guy". Things come full circle, I guess.
