after a long hiatus, I've rediscovered these forums, mostly to see if I've lost my game or what...
basically for the last 5-6 months, I've been dating just one girl, things have been pretty damn cool between us. I haven't had a decent girlfriend like this in quite a while. she's cute, emotionally stable, she has a good career and basically her own life/hobbies and so do I, so it's not like we are all over each other and hanging out every day of the week. I like having the best of both worlds - a great girl to spend time with when we get together, and when we're not, I got plenty of other stuff I do and if we don't talk for a few days up to a week, it's no biggie (she travels sometimes)....plenty of space, no pressure, etc. sounds pretty good eh?
well, lately her schedule has been extra busy so we haven't done a whole lot together. recently when we were both free and I was intending to hang w/ her, she decides to take the day off of work and go to the lake w/ some of her unemployed friends. well sheeeet, that sucks, but it's my problem because I didn't specifically make w/ plans her. I told her I was disappointed because I had wanted to spend some time w/ her, she kind of got defensive about it, saying that she'd been working hard and wanted to spend time w/ her buddies (she sees some of these 'buddies' everyday at work....?).
so blah blah, she says she'll call me the following night to tell me if she'll be free tomorrow for us to make plans. well, that was tonight and no phone call, no I wasn't sitting by the phone all AFC-like. I'm just going to do something else with my bud tomorrow night...if she decides to call, I will just say I didn't hear from her soon enough and already made different plans.
anyhoo, up until now, things couldn't have been better between us, and I was genuinely a happy guy, but this has been buggin' me for the last day or two, and I'm starting to get bad vibes. so here I am, somebody give a refresher course to an elder...
