snoop seems to many women like a very cool and very sexy guy. he is not a good looking guy but attracts women becuase of his smooth stile.
please tell me if snoop could be a DJ without fame and fortume to help him out with women.
me personally, I try to imitate his smoothnes and coolnes from time to time.
tell me what you think guys.

he attracts women cause he's rich as hell. he could have any style, he could be blind, deaf, have a peg leg etc and he'd still get laid all the time.

I like that he always has this guy behind him who always has a cup of wine and is constantly drinking. Haha. For people like me who aren't born with American (black/white, etc) culture, it's very, very funny.

I saw him walking down the club strip in Daytona and he almost ran into my friend. He talks just like how he does in his rhymes, he's just dope. It's said he's the guy who can game any woman.

no matter how much money or fame he has, he could get most women without it. Ive know a couple of guys personally with that snoppnes and they are natural DJs.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

it might not be BECAUSE of his fame and fortune, but it probably has alot to do with it.

if you were as rich and sucessful as him, you wouldnt need to worry about anything, for hte rest of the your life. so naturally, hes laid back as hell, and confident as hell because he knows theres really not alot that can go wrong.

fame and fortune helped him become the guy that he is, and thus the DJ that hes become.

uhhhh yeah.. 'cause pimping's cool isn't it? Oh wait no it's not!

Whats that, he's not really a pimp? Give a toss! A man who ASPIRES to be a pimp, makes porno movies and hasn't made a decent record in years (possibly because of the fame and money) clearly has some major issues with the oppisite sex...

I thought DJing was all about being confident in yourself? Not about feeling the need to own, control and objectify women?

Yuck

I read an article in Cosmo about him. He was a shy nerd at school and not a leader. I love black men but none of my girlfriends have any time for him, he looks like a skinny weed and he looks seedy as well.

I think he pays women to be in pornagraphic movies and that seems very afc (to coin your term) to me. He is offputting but he was funny in Starsky and Hutch, but that was a movie. Yuck is all I can say. I like Denzel and Usher and Ice T, but snoop makes my skin crawl and my girlfriends feel the same way.

It's his fame and money - he'd be a very pitiful man without it. He's one of those guys who never stopped resenting the world and is now a very bitter attention-seeker.

I agree with Cherry, that guys like him make people's skin crawl. He has no class.

Very well said! Unfortunately not everybody here gets that!

Every time I see young girls I think of snoop and those ggw videos.

I was going through the drive through to get a coffee with my friend when we noticed some girls stading up against the glass window. As we drove by I pretended to lift my top at them to encurage them (just like in girls gone wild). We all laughed really hard.

Everybody has their own definition of DJ and who is a DJ. I'm just saying that Snoop is a pitiful role model for any man. The guy acts like a spoilt and resentful teenager struggling with puberty. What's more, he totally lacks personality, charisma and likeability.

One thing is for sure, a DJ would never need to pay, coerce or bully a woman into anything.

I hate all this 'this guy is a DJ, this guy is not a DJ, this is what a DJ acts like blah blah' crap. I am myself, I don't care who's a DJ and who isn't.
And personally I think Snoop Dogg couldn't rap well if his life depended on it. That goes double for Dr. Dre.

Bang on mate!

I don;t worship idols... that's for idiots.

I also think that anyone who needs to spend vast sums of cash to go "hey world! I'm cool" almost certainly isn't.

Porn is not (repeat IS NOT) cool.

Snoop is a misogynist (look it up) and, like my esteemed colleague points out, a child.

Now the RZA, theres a rap artist to look up to... A man who preaches improvement through knowledge of self, likes chess AND produced that first Wu Tang LP!

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

What's "stile?" Maybe you mean "style," and if so then spell it right. Same goes for your grammar and spelling, which are awful.

Anyway, I think trying to imitate him only works if:

A) You're a black man.
B) The woman you want likes black men (if she's not black herself)
C) She really likes rap noise (or as some wrongly call it, music).
D) She doesn't mind posers.
E) She's under the age of about 23. Older people in general despise rap, or so it seems to me.

Also, don't try to imitate him when you post here. Use good, decent, reasonable English.

Now about being rich:

If you're rich, and you're willing to spend the money, you'll always get women. Donald Trump gets women, but he obviously isn't into any of this ghetto "in da 'hood" crap. It might not even have anything to do with S.D.'s style (or lack thereof), but because he has lots of cash and spends it.

Just my $.02,

Ben

In response to hillbilly, oops I meant abbot(spelling?, who gives a ****, whatever
A) You're a black man.
B) The woman you want likes black men (if she's not black herself)
I personally AM black, and I love rap and Snoop(his first album doggystyle was probably the first rap next to funky whiteboy Vanilla Ice-OMG that's so ****ing embarrassing) but he is not my ROLE model nor do I believe in role models, every man should be his own person and not try to emulate anyone. I have talked to real Vanilla white women and rock chicks and other variations that have nothing to do with hip-hop and I am more successful than most.

C) She really likes rap noise (or as some wrongly call it, music).
Alright cracker, what kind of music do you like? I hate it when white people say they don't like rap music and start disrespecting it. Nobody here asked you if you like it or not, and you seem like you are older than most posters here, so sit down and shut it(shut the **** up)

D) She doesn't mind posers.
could be true

E) She's under the age of about 23. Older people in general despise rap, or so it seems
you hanging around like minded hillbillies, ok maybe not but if you despise it , again that's not what this thread was about so shut it.

for your information abot, what you think is rap is likely the only two forms that are widely televised 1) gangster rap and 2)the party rap music, what you and your older generation people never hear is the conscious rap, the underground artists, the poetry and all that. so go ahead, can't take you too seriously, if you are over 23, you should be more mature than you seem to be.

Anyways, Snoop is laid back, I think that is the quality that the original poster was talking about

Snoop is an honest guy...he's not caught up in complicated seductive lies...

So what if Snoop thinks all women are b1tches? So what if he's a misogynist? Doesn't the DJ try to seduce women? Doesn't the DJ assume women don't have the capability to figure out mind games? Doesn't the DJ seek to take women off pedestals?

I think he would have women without the fame. Just not the kind of women most of us would want.

Missed the Part...

...Where he was married and had kids?

Pretty good for a guy who is self-proclaimed to be a 'pimp' with game and style.

Keep in mind a few things...

*It's TV/Production. What you see is not all of Snoop. They only put entertaining, informative, or edgy material on. That's why you watch anyway.
*Loathing another person or placing your morals on some one else does nothing for your own moral agenda or growth. It speaks of weakness, whether its jealousy or not.
*He's self-made. You must respect that, no matter how he does it.

Cultivate your own style. If we were all the same, the only factors that mattered would superficial ones like $, hobbies, d!ck size, etc. Don't be a clone.

No guy on TV or girl for that matter, qualifies very well as a role model. You don't know them intimately enough to understand them. And if you're attempting to be someone else, you're not working on being you.

Each male serves a purpose and a style. By Snoop existing, you can go for the women he wouldn't go for.

How did I get sucked into such a chick-type topic?
