Sleep Problems

For the past few months I have been having issues with sleep. It would take like two hours to fall asleep and I will wake up tired. Sometimes with my body hurting. I have a pretty good diet, I do kickboxing every week so what gives? I just finished highschool so there is no stress really. I feel lIke I'm running out of options so I'm taking melotonin but it wasn't working so I quit taking it. Im always yawning as if I don't sleep even though it appears that I'm getting the right amount of hours. I really dnot remember the last time I woke up feeling refreshed and energized. I just want to get say to myself "that was the greatest sleep ever!" miss that feeling. I really need some help here.

Well dear i suggest you to do exercise regularly.Try to do exercise.It makes you healthy and with it you can get a better sleep.You can use a better sleeping pill but discuss with your doctor first.

I've had sleeping disorder's for like 3 years now but I learnt how to fix it. Melatonin doesn't do **** for me I've even went to sleep clinics and they couldn't help me.

What I do before I go to sleep is shower relax make sure you have no light on in your room. Just relax close your eyes. I sleep better with a hectic day..alot of traveling working out etc just keep your self active and at night you should sleep better. Your sleep schedule is most likely messed up right now so take a day of no sleep and don't sleep until a normal time.
I actually am doing that right now...was in the hospital all night.

I have some sleep issues as well. I rarely feel well-rested or refreshed when I wake up. One strategy that seems to work is having a few poached eggs before I go to sleep. I get crazy ass dreams too

Sometimes your central nervous system just needs a break from exercise.

Also - you say your diet is good - but is it? What foods are you eating, are you carbohydrate sensitive, how much protein etc etc.

By the way - as someone who sleeps not more than 5 hours per night...its not how long you sleep its the QUALITAY of that sleep. I find reading an interesting book helps me fall into a deep sleep.
