Off topic a bit, but sometimes when I sleep, I wake up and have to pee, but my leg is numb, and I go to stand up, and well...I fall.

This sleep paralysis is terrifying and it happens often to me.

It usually happens more than twice per week in some form or another.

The worst was when an 'evil' persence held my head down on the pillow and started squeezing my testicles (quite a vicous violation eh!) - the more I tried to move and fight it, the tighter they squeezed and the more it hurt. I was trying to cry out in terror for my father but I just couldn't get any words out at all.. eventually when you 'accept' your 'fate' and that you can't control it and you just relax.. you drift off back to sleep and it all goes away.

I f****** hate it, I'm glad I sleep on my side and in to my pillow at times 'cos if I slept on my back and had a demon sitting on me choking me I think I'd die of sheer terror.

This happens all the time. Sometimes I can't open my eyes and I'm petrified because I can sense evil presences in the room but I can't open my eyes to see them.. the mind can be a total c***.

I have had this happen to me once, I didn't know it was so common.

After 36 hours in planes and airports I finally got to my hotel in Bangkok and promptly crashed out. Had a dream that I was awake in the bed looking at the ceiling when a panel above me slid back and I got shot with a dart from a blow pipe paralyzing me and then two faces peered over the edge of the hole in the celing.

This is the part where I woke up but couldn't move, which freaked me out, I'd never had sleep paralysis before and didn't know it existed.

I felt like I could just barely shift my weight left and right, so I started trying to roll myself off the bed to wake up when it finally ended.

I had to sit there for about 20 minutes trying to get my brain around what just happened and assure myself there wasn't even a panel in the ceiling above the bed (I looked directly above where I was sleeping, where it was in the dream).

Wierdness happened again the next day when I happen to look up and to the left and see a panel! I slid the panel back and found a plastic bag full of British porno mags.

Vintovka - LOL! What an ending to a f***** story. Man, I don't know what I'd do if anything like that happened. Seeing actual entities in a semi-awake state. The thought of that scares the bejeesus out of me.

It's nasty stuff this sleep paralysis.

I can relate. I don't like waking up in the morning either. lol

Just kidding man. That stuff is seriously scary.

I've been scared only one time during sleep. I was tired and slept on my arm. When I woke up, I couldn't feel it or move it at all. I was sure I'd have to amputate it.

After dangling it for a while it started working again.

That and a seldom nightmare.

I think this happened when I was younger. I remember lying in bed, looking out into the hallway (my door was open) and suddenly a big demon walked into the room. I blinked twice and he disappeared.

resume sleepage :)

oOh Nasty,

Damn I guess my post didn't make it.

I had this problem. I actually thought I was being abducted by aliens. (No Bullshyte). But I found out about sleep paralysis and I deaded that theory..REAL QUICK.

It's VERY SCARRY. Nothing worse than having being awake and not being able to move.

Do you snore? Are you getting enough oxygen at night? It might have something to do with it. You can go and have a sleep study done to find out.
I plan on going for my snoring problem.
