I checked the website and there is no mention on whether the training/eating schedule is suitable for high schoolers (e.g 16yrs old).

Does anyone know if it will still work for someone as young as me?

Thanks

wow!!! you sure like bumping your threads Donny Osmond.

I'm not into all that weightlifing thing so i can't really help that much.

I assume it will work for ANY AGE, but i would have to check the programme.

What do other DJ's think?

Donny,

If you want to get BIG eat LOTS of red meats. Also, you want to eat 1g of protien for each pound you weigh.

For example, I weigh 170lbs so I eat around 150-170g's of protien daily.

How do I accomplish this? Red meat such as steaks, roast beef slices from the deli, protien shakes (22g's per scoop, 2 scoops per shake), cans of tuna fish (38g's of protien per can), Chunky stew with 15g's of protien, chicken, eggs (9g's of protien per egg white), etc.

The fastest source of protien will be your protien powder. I recommend optimum whey protien, mixed with milk. One good shake can be a quick 50g's of protien.

To gain actual size you need protien&calories. That's where the meats play the major role. Youll also need to be working out regularly to actually put on muscle/size.

Another way to gain an extra 10lbs is creatine. I recommend v12 or if you don't have enough $, you can try Cell-Tech.

Good luck.

Donny, you are certainly at the age where you can perform heavy resistance movements. A few points you may want to bear in mind:

Train 3 - 4 days per week max - 3 is ideal really.

Priority is exercise form, weight will naturally follow.

No fancy split routines - either a whole body workout or two way split - training every other day is ideal regardless of the method you choose.

Eat well. Wholesome food throughout the day if possible. Get this element right before adding food supplements.

Post workout static stretching

Be an all round athlete rather than a mere musclehead! Play football, b/ball, soccer, tennis - whatever.

Haven't looked at skinnyguy site in a while and to be honest he can't tell you anything any good weight training instructor couldn't. I will check again and see if there is anything specific worth addresssing. Is he pushing any systems or products? Either way, save your money.

I am a COMPLETE newbie when it comes to weight training abbreviations, e.g splits.

What training should i do?

Bear in mind that i can do 4 repititions (bench press) of 55kg.
