I figure I would post this here since there are over 60 more people on this forum. the following is a post I posted on health and fitness:

"okay so I really need advice on building a solid stack 6 pack.

Don't get me confused of someone who doesn't know how to get started though. I'm a multiple time state wrestler and placer and am used to cutting as much as 35+ lbs(160-123 1/2 the most)

this is the main problem: I have a pretty decent body all the way to 163 or so. I used to have a very defined solid six pack about 4 years ago. the only problem is that I weighed something like 112lbs when I had it and weigh about 162 right now.

I realize the key is to cut the belly fat off. but a problem is the fact that I'm not willing to look ethiopian by cutting so much weight. I want muscles and a six pack on a serious level, model style.

the most intriguing method I've encountered recently says no water or food for two weeks and workout downing ONLY proteien/creatine powder and supplements.

I'm not interested in anyone responding telling me how "unsafe" or how stupid you "think" I am. like I said, I'm also a wrestler and have seen boys on a national level cut up to 12 lbs a day. any experience in response would be greatly appreciated thank you."

You aren't interested in people telling you how unsafe this is? Well tough luck, because this method is the fvcking most retarded thing I have ever seen. How are you even comparing this to wrestling where the goal is to lose all your water weight so you can sneak into a lower weight class. They aren't losing belly fat. You should know since you are a supposed wrestler.

Yes the key to getting a six pack is losing your belly fat. The answer is to lose weight. How? Calorie deficit. How much? Certainly not protein shakes only. Your just gonna lose half your muscle and a ton of water with that much catabolism. Decrease calories at a reasonable rate. In weight-lifting the most important thing to remember is: less is more.

thats key too. I was honestly just thinking that "less is more" (on lifting weights). thats key for my chest. I'll work on it.

The thing is that I don't care of how unsafe it is. When cutting to 129 1/2 from 160 or so I was so starved you would'nt believe it. But I have balls so I hold the weight there... I want my girl's mind blown and thats enough motivation on its own lol ;) .

The reason for saying that I'm not interested in people telling me that is that just for example a fellow wrestle named starzyk ( a 3x state champ) had cut from 185 to 133. I don't complain, niether does he, thats key, not acting like a vagina :nono: thanks =]

You don't have to kill yourself with that kind of diet. All you gotta do is build up all the muscle you want before you start slicing since it's easier to build muscle when you got more body fat. Once you get to a satisfactory level, keep consuming at least 60g of protein a day and cut down your saturated fat intake (no more than 10g a day). Remember to jog 30 minutes a day, do sit-ups, ab-roller, pilates, w/e. It'll take a few months cause the last ten pounds of belly fat is a motherf*cker to get rid of.

Wrong forum to post this on.

I've known guys who are built like a rock who can't get chicks to save their life. They think that if they just put on 10 more lbs of muscle that women will take notice of them and approach them. If you're looking to get in great shape because you think you'll get more women (I'm sure you're already in really good shape) you're doing it for all the wrong reasons. Trust me, women won't hardly even notice the difference.

Fitness, in itself is a great thing, and is something that all DJ's should get into, but it seems like you're doing it for all the wrong reasons.

Supplements should be used to "SUPPLEMENT" a balanced, high protein diet. They should not be used to bring in 100% of your nutritional needs.

You can try to drink only water and protein powder, but you'll find that consuming no 'real' food will be extremely unsatisfying.

Research how much water you should get in a day, drinking about a gallon of water actually can increase your metabolism- there's a reason why they tell you to 'drink 8 glasses a day'.

Best of luck:up:

Funny you should post this. My New Year's resolution is to get to single digit bodyfat percentage. I've done it before recently too. The time it takes depends a lot on your starting point. You don't want to lose the muscle you have although you will a little.

What I did is to cut out starchy carbs. I get my carbs from primarily fruits and vegetables and get a lot of whole food protein such as lean meats. I eat 5 small meals a day and lift weights 4 days a week with a brief cardio session after. My last meal only consists of a protein source such as chicken breast. Once a week I eat the starchy carbs to replenish my stores and anything I want so I don't go crazy. The great thing about this diet is that I NEVER get hungry. Sometimes I have to force myself to eat. What this does is it controls my insulin levels, keeps my body in a fat burning state and develops a speedy metabolism. Toward the end of my goals, I use a thermogenic such as Xenadrin or something similar to get that last cut because your body becomes used to it.

Maybe that is a typo? Two weeks without water?
