This girl that i dated last yeart is starting to hang around me in school whenever she has the chance. She laughs at things that i say, sometimes things that arent even funny. Does she like me and should i try to hook up with her?

Every girl I talk to laughs because they find me humorous, that doesn't mean they like me, it just means that I developed rapport with many of them and they enjoy spending time with me.
