Looking for a site or a good magazine that showcase a heavy variety of nice clothes and ensembles, preferably worn (so I can see how they look). Nothing too flashy or preppy, specifically conservative/urban (e.g., boots, jeans, etc.).

Any suggestions?

Details and GQ are supposed to be pretty good. Search google for fashion tips for men.

Well, be leary of specific suggestions on askmen.com. I showed some of the suggested clothing to women and they weren't too impressed. I asked a female friend to select three coats and I also had pics of their suggestions. Nearly every single woman I asked picked my female friend's suggestions over what askmen had suggested.

be leary.

btw check out Timberland.com for the best boots. They also have a lot of other **** you might wanna pick up that looks nice. Not too flashy but still nice looking.

check out some GAP and Diesel jeans

maybe a lil bit of Kenneth Cole and Versace if you're feelin flashy

if you wanna see urban clothes being worn check out www.drjays.com

loaded Fashion is an okay magazine. I hate GQ, Details, Esquire and every other American fashion mag.

Websites I visit frequently:
www.styleforum.net
www.superfuture.com/city/supertalk/
www.denimspy.com

Geoff over at ASF wrote a good post on dressing yourself. I think it's under "Complete Random Thoughts." He is better dressed than most people in the community from what I've seen and heard.

---I'm not sure if you prefer daygame or nightgame, but you definitely DO want to come across as flashy for nightgame. I've found some reasonably priced items here:

http://www.expressfashion.com/index.jsp

and here:

http://www.aldoshoes.com

Damm, Aldos are comfy. I just picked up some pimp Stacy Adams shoes also. However, they're not nearly as comfortable as my Aldo shoes, plus they're a bit slippery on the bottom.

That's just the tip of the iceberg. You want to grab an accessory or two such as a chain or necklace, rings, bands, and definitely don't forget to pick up a nice watch while you're at it.

Very nice, fellas. I'm liking all of these so far. I need to up my jewelry and wrist watch game a bit, though. Definitely like how some of those styles are worn -- very sharp and not too "loud," if you know what I mean.

Keep it coming, guys. You can never have enough styles.

I think there's a style forum somewhere, but it's a bit more mature (most guys are professionals/white collars in their 30+).

Askmen.com sucks d!ck. Their article submission requirements are low (you can bluff your way in). Even their own readers complain about the crap.
