guys i just want to add to this because i have recently had this very situation .

me and her are in our 40s she is slightly older than me nether the less she had a young daughter , she was 10 nearly 11 when we started seeing each other saw her for 2 years plus , once the daughter found out we were more than friends in her eyes the **** started , the kid was spoilt as fvck she got whatever she wanted in my opinion ....not good.

she used to talk to me like shyt , insult what cloths i had on , the whole nine yrds , when i showed any affection to her mum she fvcking hated it , and told me her mum and her and her grandma were all happy before i came along.

all the above is the total truth no lies , this chick the mother did her best to calm the situation but it was no good , the mother was totally to blame let me tell you , she came from a shytty background , she left home at a very young age , and in all fairness she had done well for herself , but most of this was due to her long term marriage which went south ,,,,,,so we all know the rest dont we .

i actually really like this girl but i chose to ignore red flags , and at my age this is the reason i have had trouble dealing with the bullshyt all last year because this slvt told me i was everything to her , she loved me like no one else had ever come close.......by the way this was total bvllshyt and just fvcking nonesense...............but thats my fault for even believing she was a decent chick.....not at all seriously , she only cared for the daughter and herself im sad to say........not a very nice period in my life.

in all defence to single mums i have had dealings with them before and never really had any issues , but its all down to the chick and how much integrity she has.......but if i was to be asked do i regret getting involved , hand on my heart i would say yes i really regret it , i did a lot of stuff for this chick and the daughter as a decent man would do,,,,,, but i am 99% sure she was just taking the pyss because as soon as i put my foot down and refused to take her daughters nonesense and rudness guess which corner the mother went to...........you could say its natural but i think differently .

the best way is to love em and leave em simple as that , i tell it how it is and i accept the fact i let my gaurd down , but the learning curve has been priceless , and luckily for me she didnt get chance to take me to the cleaners.

the manipulation facter is bang on the money that i know for a fact , anything other than a fvck , bluwjob , or letting her pay for a night out , i wouldnt give em the time of day anymore , and one thing you need to watch out for is how long the kid has spent with the mother without a daddy figure , because trust me this can lead to a lot of drama , and the after math is fvcking nasty......

one last thing is you never know what the kid may say if they dont like you , and the results of anything like that could finish you off good and proper , mud sticks and i would rather let someone else deal with it......its her loss in everyway i am 100% sure of this , and i am now moving forward with my life .....fvck them both.......life has a funny way of coming round and biting you when you have treat people like shyt...........stay away from any ltr with these type......its drama from start to finish.

I've been on a few first dates with single moms. I finally said to myself "why am I here? Single dads should date single moms". Never did it again.
