Singing makes you have stronger tonality

I've sung in the car, and after a few minutes I notice my voice has a lot deeper and stronger tonality. The song should be a singable and slow one where you can have a range to sing. If you can't match the singers tone, than sing an octave lower. Sing loud and you will also get the extra benefit of being more outgoing later on.
I don't know what the long term effects of this are since I just recently tried it.

i sing along with anything from soft r&b to harsh rock music. And those harsh rock songs that strain your throat allows everything to be more loose for me, i can hit other notes that i couldn't before hand. Try singing along to linkin park's "Crawling" and I mean really try and sing it, your throat will feel great and your voice will sound a lot clearer.

sounding confident and talking good is very important..wish there was some step by step working program about it :D

Follow the voice. If it's high, hit high. Low = Low. Linkin Park is good for that :).
Even if you crack, reset yourself and keep going.
