Here are signs which girls might give you if they're attracted to ya:
1) Smile a lot at ya
2) Laugh at all your jokes, even if they're not funny
3) Make lots of eye contact
4) Pupils dilate when looking at you (they dilate naturally though when you drunk or are in dark light)
5) Touch you - like holding your hand or hugging you etc.
6) Brush hair often when chatting to you (could be ambiguous coz they may just be oing it naturally, on the other hand, they could be flustered and nervous)
7) Arms aren't crossed when talking to you
8) Seems jealous when you flirt with other girls
9) Asks your friends about you
10) Tries to make friends with your friends
11) Phones you up and generally wants to be with you

I've noticed when i'm at the bar, every girl i talk to has dilated pupils. I know i'm good looking, however i realize that every girl isn't going to be interested in me!
CobraGT is right. Also, alcohol will also cause the pupils to dilate. What matters most is whether they dilate more than they are normally. Try to judge her normal dilation when she's talking to a friend, ordering a drink, or looking away for a while.
Ok, so it might be true that they may be leading you on with those signs too, but some of them are given out by girls who find you attractive. You've just got to learn to differentiate between the girls who are leading you on and the sincere ones.
I honestly don't think it's possible to find out if they're leading you on or not, unless you ask for their number, they give it, then they go out on a date with you. If they do that, it shows they're interested in you.
Or maybe it is heavy LSD use and she hallucinated you into Brad Pitt. That would explain the sex.
Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
It shouldn't be that difficult to differentiate between girls who are really interested and those who are trying to lead you on.

Now, I'd expect that if a girl is leading you on, she probably doesn't give a #$@% about her behavior around you. Therefore, watch out for girls who are totally at ease and not at all nervous! Why? Because, if a girl is nervous, you give her that thrill that she had better be her best around you or you'll totally diss her!
There are also differences in flirting between player girls and genuinely interested girls. Player girls tend to flirt more, especially more in public. Interested girls try to get your attention more in private or clandestinely. It's that feeling that she's trying to share a little something with you and you only. I realize this post is old. But, something about the whole pupils dilating thing.
I think that we all recognize this subconciously. I could always tell by the 'way' a girl looked at me if she liked me. Reading about the pupils dilating just sorta clarified it for me.
So I wouldn't concentrate too much on pupil size, more on the general way she is lookin at ya. Sorry if this is too vague.
If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.
