shy guy who can't get a girl

To start off im 19 years old and was born with a facial deformaty. I have a prosthetic left eye and my nose though improved is still fake it was created from the ground up. Now as you can probably guess i'm un-attractive and I have been through elementary,middle and highschool and never had a girlfriend. Now that i'm in college i really wanna get a girlfriend or just get the first kiss out of the way.

I'm the type of guy who will overthink things and if am watching a movie with a girl i'd be like "DOes she want me to, if i do will she be awkward will she freak out" and in the long run wont do it. My confidence as you see isn't the greatest and any girl i've been interested in has turned into a "Friend" and one girl even said I was like a girlfriend and if thats not a kick in the balls i dont know what is. I'm a sweet guy and many say i'm too nice and thats why i dont have a gf.

In highschool I became close with a friend of a best friend. She told him she liked me and before i met her he would tell me how she was into him and he made fun of her for it and said she was like a sister so i thought ok i'll go for it. So as time went on i flirted with her and stuff and a few months later i asked her out for her to tell me she wanted to be friends. Now in the long run i was like ok big deal. However as time went on she revealed that my "Friend" told her how he was into her and if certain things were different he'd date her and he strung her alone and such and he was doing all this while telling me to go for it with her. I decided their was too much baggage and gave up on her and told him to go jump off a bridge.

Now i've gotten a bit more courageous since that and even got a girls AIM username in one of my classes. But she had a boyfriend

so i guess what i'm after is

how can I show a girl that i may not be attractive but i'm a great guy.

How do i become more easygoing and brave around women in college?

If you do that how will you ever get a girl? You have to show them interest my friend. I used to be the same way. I would never flirt with a girl and if I did it it was very rare. I didn't because I thought the same way. I thought that they weren't interested in me. You have to take risk in life. You only live once. Take a chance. **** man I feel for you, you're facing real hardship and unfair obstacles, most people who come on here are just pussies crying about the fact that their pussies.

Life isn't fair man. Some people are born with the world, some are born in the middle of a war zone in a 3rd world country. Life is about adversity and how you choose to respond to it.

I used to be like you, shy, self-conscious, always worrying about what a girl would think, but it wasn't cause I had a reason to be, it's cause I was just a ***** raised believing all the stupid **** you hear about being a nice guy scared to offend women all that bull****.

You need to come to accept yourself as a person.

If you cannot accept who you are, how will anyone else accept you? The fact that you're self-conscious comes through in your body language, your voice, how you carry yourself, and it turns *****es off. You're doing it to yourself just like I used to.

Change what you can, accept what you can't. Focus on the things you can do to improve yourself as a person every single day. Work out. Learn. Explore. LIVE.

DON'T GIVE A **** WHAT ANYONE THINKS. At the end of the day they're just people. If a ***** throws a drink in your face, she's just a ***** man theres BILLIONS MORE OF THEM OUT THERE. And you just saved yourself the trouble of wasting time on some hoe and wont have to stay up late at night wondering about what could have been.

You need to get your swagger man. Find the things in this world that make you happy, that make you fulfilled. Have dreams and goals and fulfil them. Don't give a **** what anyone thinks man if someone disrespects you **** em and move on theres plenty of *******s but theres only one life to live man DONT watch it pass you by.

I Know youre facing greater obstacles than 99% of this sites members but this is your world, this is your life and you can do whatever the **** you want with it.
