Female barbers are great.

Went to a new place a month ago, cute girl. It's one more opportunity you have to engage a girl, absolutely, go for it.

I tell her what I want. Then when she's cutting, I sometimes joke, I'm glad I'm not going bald, or she'll comment on the thickness of the hair. Then that leads to other guys hairstyles. Then maybe style in general. Lots of easy ways to open up a conversation.

I think it'd be weird to be a female barber, and have all these strange men in the chair, all day. You feel their hair, and cut around their ears. And brush up against them. It seems like for a woman it'd be creepy or weird. You know alot of guys are going to get aroused from it.

Similar for a female dental hygienist. Just seems odd, look at all these men all day.

I will be going to the hot female barber, have been once already about a month ago, but I'm planning to go back soon for a shorter cut :)

1. She works in a small hairdressers in town so its best to support the small businesses
2. I was in ecstasy while she washed my hair
3. Shes funny, seems like a cool chick.
4. Fairly cheap haircut and its done to a great standard

But yea if you already have a good barber/hairdresser, then I wouldn't go out looking for a hot one, theres 1000's more oppurtunities apart from the once a month haircut.. jeez

Well I'll definitely check that out, although I've been going to the same barber all my life, and my dad has been going there for 25 years. The guy who does that is a type of artist, although he really sees his art as a product of experience and human knowledge. He's almost 50 btw and still looks around 40. He married an Italian woman years ago, and because his shop also does women's cuts, he talks to the female hairdresser on the other side of the partitioning (it's a traditional shop: male barbers for male customers and vice versa). They give him tips and stuff, and sometimes they call each other over for consults (as if we were in a medical practice, and they take it all very seriously). He knows all about me, since I've been going all my life and my dad half his. It's always cool to catch up with him.

Also they do something most shops cannot do anymore: Shave with shaving cream, a badger brush, and a cut-throat razor. Really good.

I tried other places nearer and cheaper to my house, but it's worth the drive and the quality of my cut. My advice to the guys who want to get their hair done to attract chicks: Talk to the fishermen who catch a lot of fish. The women will often do what they always do, tell you what they think you want to hear so that you will feel better. That's why many women give bad dating advice. There are exceptions to this rule.
However, if you're talking to get over your shyness, then talk to the girl. Else go for the quality cut.

To the OP: You seem to have gotten the quality cut and the social experience, so keep going if you feel like it.
