Regardless of posts per day...he's got a point. WE, those of us that are here NOW, have to continue the DJ LEGACY. If every dude here commits himself to go out there and sarge like there's no tomorrow, this forum will continue to be a source of inspiration and useful tips...yes, we've all BEEN there, but nobody has to STAY there.

This is NOT a club where you can hide from the social outcasting you may or may not have experienced in reality. This is mental bootcamp. Everyone here came to the board because they felt a lacking somewhere somehow, for whatever reason. You are here to flip that. And it takes a man to do that. Step up!!!!!

Read the Bible, commit to it, or get the hell out. Supplement your questions through the board, and share insight of how your experiences went well, flopped, or whatever to give people the reality that we are all in the same boat, we're just here to make it go faster.


This is not a philosophy, being "DJ" is not a vague foreign concept that we can stand around on soapboxes and throw theories back and forth...Its getting back to being a man. Something that people lost a long time ago.

If you read the Bible and try to understand what people are preaching to you (read the articles on the front page too, killer material there), then probably 4 out of 5 times when you come on here to post a question, you'll find that you know the answer by the time you're done typing and there's no need to post.

No, unfortunally I don't have the post. I think I saved it on my old drive and now I don't have it anymore ... or something like that.

I was feeling down one day and I thought that that post would give me som vitality, but I couldn't find it - I think Allen prolly deleted it with a bunch of posts.

I never got shtted on really bad about my spelling, it was somebody else. I was just hard to understand for most.

HERE'S AN IDEA...

Im not near being a Master DJ but i also dont regard myself as an AFC either.

Anyway, why dont we set up some sort of action group that answers EVERY AFC post with:

'Read the DJ BIBLE - then you'll get advice from us.'

This would:

1) MAKE ALL AFCs read the bible

and

2) Would make those AFC's realise that they aint gonna get an answer outta us til they do!

It sounds a bit cruel but i think itd be best for all involved!

Thoughts?

i am down. and i think we should not give advice to anyone with a post count of less than 10 either, they have to contribute to other threads if they want us to contribute to their AFC newbie thread.

As long as I acknowledge that the internet is not the real world why can't I use it to learn.

i agree. i've been trollin' for about a year. these forums have degenerated into a crack vhore. all these youngsters are looking for a quick fix and an easy way out. addressing all of their symptoms, but not the problems.

on the other hand, i like reading about all the FR's, Boot Camps, fvck ups, and such...

some are sad, some are inspirational, some are bitter and hostile, some are damn funny...and some are completely pathetic.

best of all, however, it's the REAL WORLD, shiat included. like everything else, including chicks, you have to wade through the crap.

there really needs to be a board for the > 30 crowd. i mean, shiat, there's a board for the high schoolers!

Reason why ASF is better than here? Coz there are almost NO ppl asking stupid questions, instead they just read the guide, read the posts, then go out there and DO it instead of just asking about HOW they should be doing it. ASF has like 5 or 6 field reports posted every night... here we get about 1 field report every 3 days. Does that suggest something about the kind of ppl who go to either?

Actually, no. A lot of people read the DJ Bible, put it to use, and then came to the board to write about their experiences.

You right, but when I talked about my one-itis, there was no such thing as a DJ Bible. Plus I got alot of **** for it too!!! I'm just tired of repeated non-sense. For crying out loud, almost half the first page were filled with the posts I quoted.

I have nothing againts noobs, but if you have been here for more than a week and you STILL post non-sense, that's a different story. Most of the posters have been here over a month!!! AND THEY STILL POST STUPID QUESTIONS.

This was not targetted to noobs, I was just venting because posts like the ones I quoted are what degrades this forum. If ppl posted about more insightfull material such as field reports or their own experiences it would reduce the amount bull**** material.

most of the questions were just plain dumb "Dj'n with an umbrella ???" cmon now!!! Most of em aren't even 'personnal problems'. I made this post to

1) Vent
and
2) Propose a solution to fix the problem.

like I said, I'm not the best DJ, nor do I claim to be - butcertain bull**** needs to be stopped.

There's alot I let slide and I don't mind, but "DJ'n with braces???" cmon now. You can't be serious.

The thing that gets me is when these little sh!ts try to talk to me like they are the alpha. Man does that p!ss me off. Like when I'm going through some hard **** with a girl (Like my first LTR when I joined) and some guy who is 17 and patting himself on the back for being able to mack on a chick in his precalc class comes on and tries to tell me I'm a loser because I'm confused in my first LTR. I mean think to your first LTR. You were confused as sh!t at certain times! This kid is telling me generic answers that he read from the bible like "She sounds flakey, next her. You sound like an AFC." when all the while he should just be praying for his balls to drop. Some of these kids I just want to beat the sh!t out of....

Nah, not really, but it's a thought that crosses your mind when you're frustrated with a girlfriend, and you've basically got your annoying little brother trying to talk like he is part of your relationship.

If this was a real post they would of probably already concluded that I was an AFC with no game at all, and probably at least within the next twenty-four hours they would of had me as a loser in high school who was going nowhere in life. The majority of you guys haven't asked questions in the midst of this newbie wave, so I don't know if you can fully understand what I'm talking about.
