Tinder is a catastrophe for western civilisation as it has allowed females to form harems around the top 10% of men in terms of looks.
This imbalance means that there will be an entire generation of men with no reason to be constructive, as a similar phenomenon has already been seen in Japan.

For the good of society, should tinder be illegal?

See the picture: an average female finds only 10% of men attractive enough to talk to, any other imbalance like this would cause riots.

in the past, men would work to survive, provide, and excel and be men or in some cases fail. at the same time, women would work to look good to impress men. they would go on diets, makeup, and strive to act attractive and sexy, coy, heals, skirts, and so on...

fast forward to now and:

men spend as much or more time trying to look good so as to impress women. yes, the exact actions are different but it is for the same reasons. to be attractive, exactly the reason women used to do it. now men are worried about how women will accept the shoes they choose or how to describe the work they do in a sexy way.

tinder is just a communication tool as is facebook and so on.

The root issue is birth control and abuse of charity. those two things cause women to not NEED men for survival. this allows them to openly compete for the best men( as per how they choose to measure ). the rest of the men are busy trying to look better. without birth control, many women would not take the chance to be discarded by a top man after being used. some would, but not all like it is now.

I agree with you brother but I suspect this will only resonate with the older guys because this is something they were able to personally experience this transition. It's hard to grasp for the younger dudes never having experienced that environment before.

Just like it would be hard for younger guys to fully comprehend how much selection, availability, ease to pickup girls, amount of slim women, were before the smartphone era.

Except looks don’t turn women on beyond a few seconds
It’s not looks women chase but an abstract subjective combination of looks AND social value aka high social value man
Those men aren’t even on tinder, but they’re on instagram. And women take instagram more seriously than tinder.
But here’s the kicker, for a high value man - gaming women on instagram is 10x more effort than meeting them in person (for example a high status professional can easily meet women at work and get interest with little effort). So online apps don’t really help women meet high value men anyway and aren’t a problem. The problem (for the average man) is that most women, in their early 20s, want to experience and feel entitled to sleeping only with high value men (the best of the best). This makes it hard for the majority of men. But this is what you’d expect in a sexually liberated society. Why would you sleep with a guy that’s average when you can sleep with your ideal man?

Its also why guys won’t commit to women in their 30s because they have already slept with all the guys in their 20s. Also why they say the worst ages for a women is between 30-39. She can get sex easily from any man, but commitment? Forget about it.

I've actually met a lot of women on Facebook dating. Most of them only qualify for "I'm looking for something serious and not into playing games." I've even have quite a few women just open for casual. Facebook dating reminds me of Myspace where there isn't any algorithm designed to inflate female value. Everything is just face value.

For Facebook/Meta being a huge software creator, you would think their apps... all of them... wouldn't be total sh!t.

I set my parameters to 45 miles with strict controls. I'm in PA near Ohio. I rarely get anyone near me... I get people in bordering states... like MD, NJ, etc. Or someone that I'd need 6 hours and a passport to get to (Canada). Completely useless. And, they don't even show distance on the profiles. So unless you have a map app open and look up the name of every small town you don't recognize...

It's far more selective than you think. I've already posted this but as a white male in his early 30s who is 6'4" and is fit/athletic and lifts/exercises regularly I was only getting matched with very overweight and/or unattractive women. This is just the way it is on those apps and dating sites, so there isn't much you can do about it. However, while all of what I am mentioning here is true it's quite apparent that women are still meeting more normal day to day men and getting into relationships with them. If a woman demanded a man have my traits as a bare minimum you'd literally have almost every woman be perpetually single, which is most certainly not the case in the real world.

I do personally feel that the dating market today is heavily weighted against men, far more so than in the past, but it's about knowing how to pick and choose your battles. Dating apps/sites, nightclubs/bars, etc. are dating environments that you are bound to have a very low success rate with, if any. The natural response to this would be to avoid these avenues and instead place yourself into settings that increase your success rate, it's just being able to figure out what works and what does not.

POF has been dead for years also I heard now on POF you can only send 1 message every 24 hours and have to pay $25 a month
