Should I take the Bait

Hey guys, interesting one here.

Dated a girl for about 6 weeks, maybe 7-8 dates. Before Xmas Break I asked her to my New Year's Party. Over Xmas break she told me that I hadn't contacted her much over the break, and her male friend had been there for her when some holiday **** happened. Then he asked to go out with her and she was confused, yadda yadda, so she felt weird going to my party.

I told her that it's weird to tell me all of that stuff, and that by backing out of my party in that way, it sounded like she should explore things with that guy. I cut her off. She asked to remain Facebook friends. I said "no", but just let it be.

She probably saw lots of naughty pics of my party (they're public) and she posted back with her and her male friend during NYE. Since then, no other postings. But she 'Likes' my posts occasionally.. and now she just Facebook invited me to a small concert at a bar. This, by the way, coincides with something else: I just saw her put up an OK Cupid profile.

What do I do? She's been sort of, um, Facebook chasing me. Now she flat out invited me. I'm over her, but I'm sort of interested and curious.

I've considered bringing a female friend, and I have one ready to paw all over me, but I feel it might be transparent and would prevent us from having a real conversation.

This was bad! Sounds like she sh*t tested you and you fell for that so easily! It would be much better if you didn't get angry and reply something like, "ok, do as you please, I'll be there if you wanna come". She made you frustrated and you let her know! Always keep your frame and don't get upset over nothing!

Certainly don't go with a female friend! What you can do is, decline that invitation and come back with a better one some other day! If she flakes, screw her! If she doesn't, go to the date and screw her literally!

I agree with you on the **** test, and I'm usually good at those. But it was a weird phone call.

The only thing is though, I basically ended us seeing each other even though she set the table. So it seems like it would make me look weak to be the one asking her out, wouldn't it?

Like basically she is in this spot where she set the table, I told her she needed to move on because she seems so confused, and now she's reaching back out. Isn't that a pretty big sign of weakness?

Go out and hit on other chicks at another bar. See if you can get one to bounce with you to the place girl 1 invited you too.

Make sure to show up late (even if you don't get another girl to go with you).

And make sure she comes to you. Don't go out of your way to invade her space.

If she doesn't come to see you and you've not brought a date/picked up another girl before hand, talk to her for about 1/2 hour, tease the snot out of her, and then get her to bounce to another, cooler bar.

And then take her home.

Turn her into a plate just as she's trying to get you back into orbit. Do not think of making her a GF, just an occasional bang.

Other than that, ignore her completely and get her out of your life if you are truly not interested.
