Should I shave off my hair

I am 62 and am a 3A or a 4A on the Norwood Scale (significant hair loss in the front and no bald spot in the back). At what point do you shave it off?

I just shaved my head this morning, but i usually do it weekly lol.

I’m probably Norwood 4.5 (crown balding). I’m buzzed to #1.

But it’s a gray buzz.

Will shave it clean soon to lose the gray.

The rule is when there is more bare scalp than hair...thats when its time to admit defeat. There comes a point when it looks silly

I seem to have a 1-1/2 (i.e., a very good, almost Stalinesque ) hairline but with a vertex. I think the hairline is much more important - the (few) chicks that have dug me seemed to like the the thick carpet in front, and not so put-off by the vertex.

If you are a hairline-4, it's already OVER for you, so you might as well shave it off. In any case, if you are dating 40-something women, it's like you don't really have to do anything, since they have to take whatever hairline a man interested in them has.
