Actually it is an advantage, girls prefer guys that are older than themselves..

Lie if it will benefit you and you wont get caught (the only benefit would be if you're dating an 18 year old who wants a man close to her own age or something like that.)

Don't lie if it won't make a difference or if you'll never get away with it. (If you tell a girl you're 19 and then you mention hanging out at bars with your friends, you're busted lol.)

If you're 30+ and tempted to lie about your age, there's one important factor. The second she finds out you've lied about your age, you're finished with her. You end all possibilities of an LTR by doing so. You might be able to get away with a lie if you're going to do one night stands and maybe casual bangs. You can't keep up an extended relationship lying about your age.

If you find a woman that is only interested in sex then there is a VERY good chance she doesn't really give a fvck about your age. If your point is that lying to women who are only interested in sex doesn't really matter to the woman, true... she doesn't care.

But lying effects your confidence because you internalize what you don't like about yourself.

I don't know about other countries, but here in the USA, it is VERY easy to find out someone's age. You just have to look it up. Your birthdate is all over the place on databases across the country and open to public records. She gets up and goes to the rest room... pulls out her smart phone and she can find out before she is finished on the john. Then you are a liar. If you ever got a traffic ticket or needed your driver's license to get anything... you age is part of the public record.

Before she even goes on a date with you, she is already running background checks on you. Much easier to just tell the truth.

It never pays to lie. It always catches up with you. Own it. I too have an unnaturally young look, as does my wife. I used to hate that, but now I love to see the shock on people's faces when they find out I'm 25 years older than they thought. It's a real asset as the years mount up.

It's definitely true if you're first interaction happens behind an electronic screen, most likely via swipe app. If you first interacted with her on Instagram, Snapchat, or Twitter, that's just as likely to be true.

She's less likely to be running background checks on men who approached her at the bar or some non-bar venue like a gym, grocery store, or outdoors. Still there's a decent probability of it.

I will add that I perceive women running background checks is more of a yuppie white woman thing. It's a sign of privilege.

I don't lie about my age I am 27 yrs and I was able to date a 18 and 22 years old. I think it boils down with genuine desire and women are inclined from older men provided that youre well established on your age.

And no need to lie, but you can be coy about it and never actually say it.
