Should I have kissed her?

I get sick and tired of seeing these posts myself, as the answer is always obvious. This time though for the first time I genuinely wasn't sure if I should have made the move. In the end I didn't..

Basically at uni I approached a big group of girls a few days ago and spoke to all of them, had a laugh, got some numbers etc. Then today my lectures had finished for the day and I spotted the same group of girls sitting on the lawn infront of the campus. So I went and sat down with them, and we spoke, it went well. All of the girls but one then got up and said they had to leave to go for a lecture..when I asked this girl in paticular she said she had a lecture, but couldn't be bothered to go. So I asked her to spend it with me instead.

We sat over the lawn and spoke and listened to music, and I started to kino her, touching scars, holding her hand to look at her ring etc. She seemed comfortable, and after a while she put her head on my shoulder. It was silent, and I heard her swallow as you do before you kiss someone. So I thought okay, I'm gonna make a move. Then all of a sudden she tells me she has a man, and that he'd be mad if he saw us right now, and that we were just two friends and nothing was happening between us right?

I stopped the kino and there was an awkward silence, and then she put her head back on my shoulder and started to stroke my arms. Damn that whole act put me off my kiss move big time! What's she playing at?

It could lead to a possible FB if you keep your mouth shut about things and she sees you as a 'confidant'. Next time you see her chat her up and go for the kiss regardless. This was basically a test to see how well you could handle her saying that, and if you had the mentality and attitude to go forward even with the knowledge she just gave you.

Seriously though, you were about to go for it, and she threw you off with that weird line. Judge by actions and not words, listen to the rest of the great advice already given, and plow forward without hesitation.

Because, you don't care if she rejects your advances, right? Because she's just one of billions...

if you have to ask if you should have gone for the kiss .... you should have gone for the kiss , that's all there is to it really , if the risks are enough , then you wont have to ask if its ok , you will automatically know it .

Depends on what you're looking for. Just looking for some fun and you can handle yourself in a fight (in case her guy saw you)? Then yeah, you should have gone for it.

If you're looking for something serious, this is the type of chick to stay clear of. She was clearly communicating interest with you, even though she had a man. If you had gone for it, I bet she would have loved it. But that tells you what kind of a girl she is.

I think everyone here has already said it and hit the nail on the head, my only thing to add would be how I respond to a girl when she tells me she is in a relationship or has a BF etc.

I respond with: "We all make mistakes" with a cheeky smile and then continue as I did. I would pay it no more attention than that.
