It's best you go.

In my case, I attended an all boys parochial school. Going to prom alone was as bad as not going at all. You'd be the laughing stock of the school for a long time. I got lucky and got a date.

But you only live once.

Brighty, GO TO THE PROM!!!

It's a part of our high school culture, it won't harm you to go and surely you want to mix with your fellow students and have a good time?

Some people despise their high school, but it isn't about the establishment (or raging against it). I enjoyed my prom thoroughly even though I was strongly against some ways in which my high school was run. The only person really losing out is you, no one else. Do you want to look back on your prom and regret not going?

Who knows, you might take a girl you don't find too hot to the prom, but end up meeting other girls and finding an HB and closing with her ( this happened to me on my junior prom haha). My point is, just because you take a girl to the prom, doesn't mean you can't go for other girls!

A Don Juan doesn't restrict himself to one woman if he wants many, and he doesn't apologise for his innate male desires!

Whatever you do in life, in situations like these where you aren't risking anything, GO FOR IT. This applies to being a Don Juan, approaching girls, finding new hobbies, playing sports, college applications, broadening your horizons etc, not just a prom, but if you cultivate that attitude of living life to the full now it will enrich your life in the long run.

So what are you waiting for?

I'm pretty sure the prom happened by now. And most likely Brighty has graduated.

Ahh.

Well, in that case...

Brighty, did you end up going to your prom, and if so, how was it?

It was a newbie! Son of a b*tch! Got sucked into a mean less thread for lack of observational effort!

LMAO

I wonder what other problems from the past we can solve.... I feel like Sam out of quantum leap.

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.
