Should I buy her birthday gift?

I just met her for less than 2 months. Her birthday is coming up in 3 weeks, and she invited me to her birthday party. Should I buy her a gift? If yes, how much should I spend? I'm not interested in her. I just consider her a friend.

If she's only a friend, sure. Get her a card with some sort of $20 gift card inside.

She's a smoker and smoker turns me off. I met her because we were in a group project.
