Should a man who just filed for divorce be cavorting with other women soon after?

New Orleans Saints head coach (yes, the one suspended for this year) just filed for divorce, but soon after was caught cavorting around in the Bahamas. The talk shows in New Orleans are filled with women castigating him for doing this so soon after filing for divorce.

What do you think? How long should a man wait? At least until the divorce is final? One divorced woman who called in said that a man should wait a year after filing for divorce to even think about dating again.

My opinion - once a man has filed, he is a free man to do as he pleases. :D

Here is the infamous video of him grinding away ...

A lot of the time the wife moves in with a new guy immediately. That's worse than chasing new tail.

His body language screams, "I'm a free man"! As someone who was married before, make no mistake about it, you may love the girl you're married to today, but it fades. Plus, with the way a women looks as she ages (yes, every woman) I know I will never get married again.

Have to bump this because "how soon" is a question I have had to ask myself on many occasions.

Recently divorced men tend to rebound slower. In my particular case, it took me about 5 months of basically shutting myself in my apartment on weekends and working out like an animal to get my head back to where it was prior to meeting my wife. Even when I kissed my first girl post marriage, it was so fvcking uncomfortable that it felt like I was cheating. I drove home feeling guilty and somewhat sad.

From what I've been reading, men become so much more emotionally involved in a marriage and have trouble shutting things down long after the ink is dry on the divorce papers.

Women are almost as emotional, but have the ability to switch emotions on a dime and rebound so much faster because 1) They simply can get laid anytime they want without much effort and 2) They long for stability and protection and will work like mad to seek it instantly because they HATE being alone.

Man vs. MAN

The way I see it, A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do! I say "Let the man LIVE!"

He's just gone through hell on earth with his public problems let alone what he's gone through privately. I'd be right in that picture with him. This can be a form of healing to a certain extent. I like it! Waste no time, it waits for NO ONE! Move with it!

Let's Go!

My ex wife didn't wait to bang some tool. I filed 3 months after leaving her and banged my first chick a month later. Second one the other night. Divorce will be final in July.

The shaming language is strong with this one.

I see a well established man happy in his new found freedom. Hopefully he will have the awareness to smile, give these fems the finger and keep on partying.
The hypocrisy from feminists is really comical. You know if the script was flipped with an older famous divorced women dancing with a younger guy, they'd all be screaming "You go girl!!".
