I've been dating this girl for about a year now. We share a lot of common ground, she paints, I play music, she's completely gorgeous and she's really fun but not loud. I could go on, but basically she's close to perfect for me(I don't know how she could be closer). We're only sixteen but we're in a mutual relationship that's exciting, doesn't involve drugs, alcohol, or sex, we share common goals and most importantly we don't ever really talk about the future, about getting married, or about anything like that. I know a lot of you guys are probably sitting at your computers rolling your eyes (very understandable) but I'd like to put that aside for the moment and address a topic which affects men everywhere.
When I started dating this girl we were both 5'8, now she's 5'9. Both her parents are 5'10 while my parents are under 5'9. Even though it's just an inch or two, it can really get to me. I run about five miles a day and I lift weights, so it's not like I'm a little guy but it's still one of those things that gets to you eventually. My first impulse is to get on here and ask you guys if there's a way to get taller (that's half of it ) but the most realistic solution would be to ask you guys for good ways to cope with it. She brings it up every now and then, like when she wants to wear high heels and then she stops and says something like "oh yeah that'd be a bad idea hahaha" It's rather embarassing. Any suggestions?
Sorry for the length
