well planned parenthoos says 2 appts are needed. The first one to see how far she is, then 2 days later the abortion. I don't know why they don't just do it all at once.
they just did this to my best friend.
she wanted to go thru planned parenthood thinking the cost would be lower, and it was lower than other places and she is disabled and draws very little on her ssi check.
they make her appointment 3 weeks from when she called due to their high volume demand ok.
by the time she gets in there , she is further along than what she thought. here she thought she was 12 weeks, which was the last week she was allowed to go thru them. turns out she was 16 weeks.
now she can not go thru them.
so we call the only other place in the state to take her. they will do the abortion however now the cost is no longer 400 and something bucks but its like 600 bucks. she doesnt have enough money. we called agencies to help with the money, the national abortion something offered to help with 100 bucks only.
when she has 600 bucks and calls to make the appointment she is 19 weeks and it is like 945 bucks.
when she has 945 bucks , she is 21 weeks and they wont perform the abortion any longer.
now she calls her dr, because in our state, medicaid will pay for it if the dr says she has to have one.
they told her with the last baby, not to have any more due to her heart condition.
her dr sends her to a special high risk dr .
the special high risk dr says no, i will help you have a healthy pregnancy.
her son, was born 8 days ago. he is healthy. the dr now says to the mother, arent you glad you had him?
