She Wants to Take a "Break" While She Studies Abroad

This summer my girlfriend is going to study abroad in France for about 6 or 7 weeks. The other night she told me that we should probably take a break when it happens so that I don't get all worried about her. She doesn't want to have to call me every night and let me know that she's alright and she thinks that by taking a break I can go hang out with whatever girls I want and not have to worry about her. She's saying she isn't looking to hook up with any guys while she's there. She wants to concentrate on school, and she says when she gets back we'll see if we wanna still be together.
So basically my question is, what do you think she wants? Me to not have to worry about her? Or for her to go have a good time and **** all the guys she wants?

The fact that shes said, "we'll see", when talking about whether you will be going out when she returns should send alarm bells off.

Also, are you just gonna not have sex for however long she's gone?

Obviously, its compleely up to you, but I would suggest cutting ties/tyes and hooking up with other girls. If you like each other enough you'll get back together anyway when she returns.

3. Putting extra effort in your current job (if you're not in a dead-end job) or extra effort in your studies at school

6. Go hiking by yourself for 1-2 hours.
7. Try to cut all contact with your EX.

Then the next 1-2 weeks I want you to try to socialize with as much people in person as possible. You will get a date in that time span.

Maybe, you could hook up again when she comes back, but on the real side, do you want to hook up with her again if she tells you this, not to even mention shes gonna screw with guys in france, maybe even find a replacement for you. Instead, and this is my opinion only, I think you should call it quits with her immediately. Id tell her "Well baby, I thought you were something special and we two could be together. But after what you told me the other night, I dont see any feature between us. Good bye." And hmmm, spice it up by going to a nice restaurant, lol. Your choice there, might as well enjoy the experience.


That obviously dont mean that you two wont see each other again. Its important to let her know that you mean business.
