Woah, it's been what seems like forever since i've even visited the boards...but now I'm back, because some jacked-up stuff happened recently...feel free to comment, but i gotta just put it out there before I go insane...I promise if you read it all you won't be disappointed...
So I'm 18, and I met a chick on myspace, also 18. We chatted online for a while, then we met a couple weeks later...we had a GREAT time just hangin out at the mall and we ended up watching a movie at my place, but nothing happened because I was unfortunately living with my parents at the time AND she's Mormon as I learned that day. This would be the first of many "secrets" she would share with me.
After that she professed how much she wanted to kiss me that night (part of me just felt like inciting that in her by not making a move), and how she's never wanted to really do that with someone she just met, she also told me i was the first guy she's EVER considered being more than friends with (never had a bf) somehow I doubt she'd NEVER felt that way before, but w/e. So I knew this whole time she'd be moving to Utah right before the New Year (she actually left a couple weeks later), but also I knew she'd be back in 4 months. So we went out on a true date on 12-29, where she immediately held hands with me the whole date, then making-out ensued, including a full hour in my car after the movie

SHE told ME that she wanted to go with me to a new years eve concert, so i got her a ticket, but then ONE HOUR before the concert she calls and tells me that she thought she should stay w/ her best friend whose bf just broke up with her after 4.5 years (WTF?!!! For the second night in a row!!), so she sent out a guy friend to buy it off of me. Damn I was pissed but i didn't let on. I really don't get it cuz she was so excited about it just two days before!
Now, comes the kicker, the NIGHT before she leaves for Utah, she drops a load on me... not only does she speak PORTUGUESE (she talked to me on the phone fluently so I know), but on AIM she also told me, since we were sharing secrets and I had been trying to get the "big one" out of her she had been alluding to, that she had an intern scholarship in the CIA!!! OOOOOOMMMMMMFFFFFFFGGGGGGGG, you've got to be $hitting me, right? Well, I tried to grill her for the next couple hours trying to get her to admit she was kidding, but the more i tried, the more details she would give, and the more it seemed like she COULDN'T be making this stuff up, but it was crazy! According to her she wasn't really going to Utah, she was actually going to start training beyond what she'd already done. The worst part is that she said the REAL reason she couldn't make it to the concert was because she was in, get this...INDIA!!! not just india...Srinagar, India!!! until new years day!! okay, now which story seems more plausible? exactly, both smell strongly of BS.
It F-king blows, I had just started really liking her (don't worry I hadn't gone into wuss-bagg mode i don't think, I know when I have) and I was getting all the right signals from her...this in addition to the fact she has MINIMAL experience with guys, so i don't think she would have the power to manipulate her feelings that well and ACT so into me as she was.
So she finally left on jan 5, and I've talked to her periodically when she has the chance...everyone she knows is to believe she's in Utah, and she always has a new crazy story, plus she volunteered to send me some kind of postmarked proof of where she is in the mail, which should be interesting.
I KNOW my head is clouded because I like her, and I'm doing my best to push her out of my mind for now, it's just hard sometimes, ya know? I don't understand why someone who professed that they really like me would go through all the effort to fabricate a massive lie for no reason just to F@CK with my mind, and yes it has, and I did lose some sleep over it sadly enough.
