She says she likes "A deep, manly, musk-scented cologne on a man". Ideas?

I didn't think musk scented cologne was so in vogue anymore.

Anyway, guys, help me out here. What are some good musk-scented colognes?

Don't know about "musk", but Aqua di Gio always seemed to work for me.

That's actually what I normally use, and I get a great response.

But this girl is into musk apparently, so I thought maybe someone knew about some good ones. Lately I've been going to dept. store men's cologne sections with zero personel there and zero samples out on the counter.

If she had told you that she likes men that wear pink nose rings would you hand her your balls and go get a damn pink nose ring just to appease her?

I mean seriously what else are you going to do to appease her? Are you going to get a 70's style haircut if she tells you she likes guys that have hair cuts like the guys in 70's cop movies?

Are you going to wear pink underwear if she tells you she likes men that wear pink underwear?

If she tells you she likes goths are you going to start dressing up in all black now?

It's a good thing to change yourself to attract women. Changing things about yourself like improving your confidence, working out, dressing better.

It's another thing altogether to go rush to the store just to get a damn cologne she says she likes or change your personal style for her. I'm not going to change the cologne i wear, the deodorant i wear just for a damn woman. If she wants to buy them for me to try them out then sure she can give them to me as a birthday present. I'll promise to try them out and that's all i can do ;P

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

I'm going to break tradition and actually answer a "tough-guy" kj who spent an inordinate amount of his time scolding Atom Smasher, because to be fair I should have expressed my question more accurately on a forum like this, and the newer ones here could get the impression that it's ok to do some single thing to attract a specific woman, which it most definitely is not.

Answer to all your questions: No.

I should have explained in my question that this girl is already solidly in the bag (I'm seeing her regularly), but she got me thinking about colognes and I was intrigued by the thought of trying a musk cologne since she mentioned it a while ago and I had thought they were out of style. My bad for not presenting it that way.

f2, get a grip on the emotions and clarify before barraging a fellow brother's post with assumptions and amplifications. All you have to do is ask. You're 29. I don't mind in the least being aggressively challenged respectfully. Your point is well-taken. Your delivery, not so much.

As I said, I definitely should have been more clear in my motivation, and therefore I'm responding. My own benificence astounds even me.

Here's a serious answer Atom Smasher- try Royal Coppenhagen Musk. Sold in 1976. Smells great if you don't overdo it.

Old Spice makes a cologne. I can't think of anything muskier than Old Spice. It's relatively cheap as well.
