Okay so ive been texting this women the last couple of days, and its all been going well. She has a bf but has text me the last couple days anyway, knowing that if he found out she was texting me, he would flip :L. Her friends have also told her its not a good idea to text me when she has a bf but she does it anyway :L.

Anyway, my question: I was texting her tonight, all is going well when she suddenly says, out of the blue, 'My boyfriend hasnt text me since 4pm today, how wierd :S'. Its now midnight. Why is she telling me this? Is this a way of telling me to back off? Or is this more of an IOI?

I would usually agree, but she always mentions him in a negative context. I usually handle the situation by laughing at her (I.e 'he hasnt text me back' Me: ' ahahah gutted' and she will tell me its not funny, but in a joking way.

Does this sound typical friendzone?

Well, in conversation they can mention him accidentally, it's part of their language. I've found myself doing that after breaking up. You can feel them catch themselves when they do it without intending to. But in this case she put it in writing. You don't accidentally type something. Maybe she's trying to rub it in. Either way is bad.

Tell her she needs a girlfriend to talk about her ex with.

If you know that she has a bf and she knows that you know, then why are you pretending to be her "friend" just to get some? Obviously, she knows that you want some, so do her friends, so quit pussy-footing around already and make a move.

Oh, and stop looking for signs of interest...
