Totally agree with this very mature young man. At 21, what you described is not the real issue. Chances are almost 100% that you won't last with this one anyway, because you are too young and you have barely started to learn and experience dating and relationships.

Even if she was completely with no health issues, chances of finding somebody compatible as you describe are very low. So just enjoy and make the most of it. You can always re-assess your situation and if thing are not as good in a few months, there is no law saying you have to stay.

People generalize too much. There are a lot of different thyroid disorders ranging from totally mild to very bad.

You guys say stuff like 'dated a girl with a thyroid issue' and then maker her being a bytch out to be related to her thyroid problem? I got some news for you people: I know some girls who dont have a thyroid issue and are *****es. Maybe we should start dating girls with thyroid issues, because girls without them are *****es?

I think most cases of thyroid disorders can be treated very easily without having any consequences. You said most of her family have thyroid problems? Apparently they're okay (correct me if im wrong?) without having any major problems, thus it seems to be a less harmful thyroid issue.

my husband dated a chick with a thyroid problem.
if she didnt take enough meds, she got huge, she got tired all the time and was very crabby and moody all the time.
if she took the meds just right she was ok .
if she took too many meds, she got very skinny and went dr jekel /mr hyde.

he was just telling this story yesterday.
