Okay so this girl Ive talked to on and off for a few years recently broke up with her bf Of a year. She started texting me like a week ago saying she missed me and wanted to see me. ... so she. Came over and we talked for a few hours and she was telling .me that they were about to break up because he was going to college and they're had been fighting. A lot so like A day later they broke up and I know she wants to hook up with me hoe long should I wait and how should I go about it,?

Mike, you have been recruited to be either her new "branch", or her male girlfriend, or perhaps merely a source of ego re-inflation and validation for her.

Play it cautious here..
IF she wants a locked down 'relationship' with you at warp speed then she is using you for a new branch to grasp on ( and she will dump you just as fast for a BBD, or if her ex wants her back).

IF she cries on your shoulder about her ex, then you are just her 'girlfriend'.

IF she wants to date you, ot "hang out " with you but wants to, " take it slow" and won't get naked yet because she is " so confused", then she is using you to repair her broken ego .

everything jophil said was spot on. She didn't go over to your place because she wants you she went over to your place because she wanted somebody to cry and whine about her bf to. Basically you played the part of the psychologist and she got a session for free and you got nothing in return (and will get nothing in return).

The lesson to be learned is to NEVER ALLOW YOURSELF TO BECOME ANYONE'S GIRLFRIEND/EMOTIONAL TAMPON!

I don't care who it is when it comes to relationship problems you don't give no consultations! Let them know you don't like drama in your life, don't like to talk about this stuff or whatever just don't let no woman use you as an emotional tampon!
