Man, I dunno, evrytime things seem to go well, it just goes to ****.

So yeah, that chick I had a date with last night flaked on me. She had asked me to call before hand, which I did, only to get the excuse that she was going out with friends because it was the only night her and her friends hd off. "Don't throw away my number, call me later on and we'll set something up" BS. Number thrown away.

Another loss on my part I guess. Wasn't the first time, won't be the last.

Usually when a girl tells you to "call before" it's actually a delayed "no answer" - I've learned this several times... alright maybe a dozen times before I learned to just delete her number on the spot and sarge on to the next girl. It's all good, don't waste time with a fickler unless you REALLY have a good connection.

You're such a priority, and she like you so much that she put going out with her friends ahead of you? I know it was a first date, but fvck that.

What I do when this happens is say "I don't take rain checks. have a nice life".......

They want you to call to confirm because they have other options and don't want to commit at that moment. So, yes it is like a delayed or neutral answer. The girl either does not have a high enough interest level or is just not sure about you. In either case, never let her or another girl jerk you around. Next time a girl tells you to call to confirm just let her know you don't play that game.

I wouldn't consider this a flake. She's just playing hard to get, very few women are submissive and needy enough to drop whatever they're doing just to be with someone they met a few days ago. Try again in 3 or 4 days so as to not appear needy, but show that you have persistance... and of course, dont be too persistant as this may drive her away.
