Saw this profile of a woman online, OK Cupid and she said that she is "looking for an alpha male, and if you don't know what that is...we wouldn't make a good match."
I found this to be an odd request, because to me...she lives in a back water town and is a nurse. She doesn't look like a woman of high status and quite average looking, moderately cute at best...so I wonder in what context does she mean "alpha". Does she even know what it means herself?
I've seen articles that read about "the myth of the alpha male" as there is no such thing and that there's too many dynamics to male masculinity for a human being to be compared to an animal.
If she is looking for a man of high social status, she won't find it in this town. If it's not status, then it's just dominance and control over her?
I usually cringe when I hear it and think mountain gorillas...aka. for men = knuckle draggers. lol
I mean, as a woman you can't say, "I'm looking for an Alpha" and have someone challenge her on what she means by it...as it IS debatable, is it not?
