Seeing couples when out and about

I've never had a girlfriend or sex, and it really pisses me off to see couples when I'm out and about. Whenever I see it, I can feel myself getting irritated. It's gotten to the point that I don't even like going out because I know I'm going to see it everywhere. I pretty much avoid movie theaters and other places where I have a greater chance of seeing people together.

I know this is not a very good way to think about the situation, but I just can't seem to turn it around. I've tried to not let it bother me, but it just doesn't work. It seems like the only thing that's going to make it go away is to get a girlfriend or some sex, but it's probably going to be awhile before that happens.

The thing that really gets me is that I actually have a lot of good traits. I'm better looking than most of these guys. I'm probably the most honest person you'll ever meet. I'm easy to get along with. I'm intelligent. You would think I'd have to beat the girls off with a stick.

1) Don't end up like Luke. Go read the DJB and start there. There's more than enough to get you started.

2) You have to be willing to change everything about yourself that requires changing and go through a mile of sh!t to come out clean on the other side.

3) That's nice that you have good traits. Let me tell you something. Honesty means jack sh!t. Intelligence means jack sh!t. There are tons of honest, intelligent people out there who end up like this guy: http://www.willworkforawife.org. Now if you look good (and you're not just saying that to make yourself feel better, but you truly have a nice face and hit the gym enough to have a solid physique), then something is missing cause you would have had sex by now.

4) Gfs aren't all that, believe me. Dating sure is fun though if you approach it with the proper mindset. Don't make "getting a gf" a goal. You'll fail miserably.

envy will kill ya, it starts with couples, then its new cars, new houses, more money, better looks. be happy for people and you will be rewarded, envy people and you will end up bitter, angry, and very, very unhappy. what comes around goes around, in other words, be happy for people and you will be rewarded, envy people and it will always be rubbed in your face. what you are talking about is a lot larger than having a G/F. you better address it now before it consumes you!

I dont think I have the same mindset as you but I actually enjoy watching couples. I mean before and this is the honest truth, before I start to game I (cuz might be with me) I would go and eat at the mall food court (Really good mexican shop there) and just watch the couples around me and wonder what they are doing today, if they fought, what they fight about and what kind of ambitions they have. I dont think I'm a creep but I wonder about these things and wonder if I will ever be in the same predicament as some of these couples, I dont mean it in a bad way just wonder about the future.
On to the topic at hand, I dont think you should hate them because they have each other because like some people above me said there is no real point in being mad at such a trivial thing. I think you should start going to these places more often and start gaming on women there because they are always at these places, who knows maybe someday some guy will see you with a cute girl and hate YOU because you have someone!

I hate couples. I just do. My situation is very similar to knglerxt's. Yes it is all about jealousy.

While I have thought about becoming a sniper that takes out every couple in the vicinity, I decided it would be a better idea to improve myself so that I can be part of a couple.

I don't get why people get jealous when others do well...Personally, I like seeing a guy with a hot girl, or if I see a couple who are very affectionate, and seem to be very into each other. I like seeing others happy.

Me and my gf are a very affectionate when we're out...no we don't play tonsil hockey every chance we get, but we do always hold hands and touch, etc. haha, i guess I never thought we could make others sick just becuase we're so into each other like that!

The only thing that matters to most women is if you're fun, assertive, and you make them feel a certain way that they like. If I could get my people skills up to par, I'd be unstoppable. I've been lucky in that I'm not much of a conversationalist but I'm always told that I'm mysterious and it drives women crazy.

It doesn't bother you to see other couples because you have a girlfriend. Go without a woman for about 10 years, and then see if your outlook doesn't change. If I had a girlfriend, of course it wouldn't bother me either.

This is the only thing I'm envious about, too. I couldn't care less if people have a better car, house, more money than me. I don't give a damn about that.

Follow what he said and ignore everyone else said ( will I ever read something from Aliasguy that I would agree?). Read the bible and go on a path of self-improvement (not change, change have a connotation he that need to bend himself and be fake, that not DJ either). There is a place for honesty and intelligence but don't exepect that it is key to getting a girl. Never make getting a girl a goal, it is a serendipity. You find one along the way and not the end result.

well, what have you been doing for the past 10 years?

Well, up until 2 years ago I was quite happy being alone all the time. But of course as you can imagine that gets old after awhile. I have a sex drive just like every other guy. You get tired of never having a woman.

For the last 2 years, I've been dealing with depression over this very thing. I think most guys would be depressed if they had to go this long without a woman.

It's not really that I can't talk to women. I can talk to anyone if I'm around them long enough. My main problem is getting in a position where I'm around a girl long enough for something to happen. Everytime I see a girl I'm attracted to she's a total stranger, and I'm not really in a position to talk to her. I'd have to just walk up to her right out of the blue. So far I just haven't been able to get myself to do that. So I'm kind of stuck.
