Here's how I see it. Before said 'jerk' got into her pants he was not such a jerk. I can bet he showed (some) sensitivity, selflessness and caring about her wants and needs enough to attract her and keep her attention.
I've read it over and over again that you're just another fly on the wall until you get physical with a girl and of course I've experienced this myself. Girls get WAY more attached after sex.
It's simple, girls can be AFC too. It's self esteem and it doesn't only apply to guys. Just like our sap asses have let women drag us around at times, too, doesn't mean it can't happen to women. We're still all the same instinctual species.
Don't take everything you hear to heart, especially just because it came from a woman. You wouldn't take dating advice from Ann Frank would you? I'm just saying...
