Met a lady the other day, got digits - work, that's important. Now, she ain't no CEO, which means she has to work under a boss, which might not like her taking my call. Whaddya think I do? I was thinking of going the "secret admirer" route (described by Jeffrey Ross - for those of ya who think he's full of it, it's when you send flowers from a "secret admirer", and then show up wearing a tshirt saying "I am your secret admirer" - sounds lame, ain't it?), or just call - after all, if she's not supposed to be taking calls there, she shouldn't be giving that number out, dontcha think? Anyways, I'm outta hare, but sure would like to see what esteemed members of the board have to say.

Me and my gf never call at each other's workplace, unless it's extremely important (which hasn't happened yet).

If she's working while you're at home, or vice versa, call anyway. If she gets in 5hit, she'll tell you.
