Even though i have a car i really enjoy walking around my neighborhood. My gym, the library, stores, bar/clubs are all within 10min from my apt. I'm kinda shy when it comes to girls and when a pretty chick would be walking towards me on the sidewalk i would usually look down or away. This got me nowhere with the ladies.

To overcome my shyness i made a promise to sy "Hello" to EVERY female i come across. This can be in the stores, at the park, gym, etc. The first few times i was nervous as hell plus many girls would just ignore me and not even look at me or anwer. Weird, but slowly i started to overcome my shyness by getting rejected and would now say "Hello, how's it going" to all the ladies. To my surprise quite a few actually would stop and answer that question. Then i would introduce myself and make small talk. This really works as i have a date on Friday. Me having a date NEVER happens.

"Hello, how's it going" that's all you need to say to break the ice with the girls.

I disagree... You have barely done anything at all for her to even use as a full first impression. You have PLENTY of time to still come off as more than "friend zone" material.

But of course, you need to make sure you do that. And he has a date, so apparently he has.

Good post, OP. Simple thing many people overlook.

That's pretty negative and not an issue (or true) at all. Good for you for starting to talk to girls and congrats on getting a date. Honestly there is a time and a place for being seductive and it may have not been the time or the place when he met that girl. It's fine to be casual & not too overt when you meet girls. Some of them prefer that kind of approach, and the lightness (lack of heavy - intensity of it) makes it easier for her justify meeting up.

GREAT JOB!!!!
